Dear Praying Friends, In this time of Thanksgiving, we have much to be thankful for! First off for our Lord and Savior! We are thankful for you for your commitment to partner with us! And we are thankful that God is using us for His glory. What a privilege! Give Thanks along with us! Many Blessings!

First fruits!
As we wrote last month, we are working with this year with the Global Church Movement hoping to see God raise up new communities of worship here in Tirana. To that end we have started meeting with women and men and initiating spiritual conversations. On November 16th, we had our first group meeting with the women we are getting to know. The ten women present laughed and cried together. We got to share where we are on our spiritual journeys, with no judgment or criticism. At least 7 or 8 other wanted to come, but couldnt for various reasons. All the women took invitations with them to invite friends for the next meeting! Please praise God along with us for the Firstfruits of this amazing ministry God has given. Most of these women have not made a decision to follow Christ yet. Please pray for continued conversations and open hearts. We are planning our next meeting for December 7th. Please keep Our vision is in the middle of that meeting in your prayers as well. Pray this invitation for our for Petrit and Sokrat as they meet with womens meeting: To build into women who will men in the area and seek to continue to influence the world starting build friendships. Men are much more at home(their nest). difficult to gather together and to share openly.

Our little girl turned 11 on October 30th! She is already wearing an adult medium and is only about one shoe size smaller than me! Where did the years go? Klara is growing up. As she gets closer to adolescence, we know there are many challenges ahead both for her and for us as parents. Our childrens innocence is under attack, and parents cannot win the battle with a single awkward "birds and the bees" talk or a strict set of rules. Klara and I (Meredith), together with another mom and daughter from our church, took an overnight trip and went through Passport 2 Purity put out by FamilyLife. The Passport2Purity Getaway Kit helps build heart-to-heart communication between you and your pre-teen while laying a foundation of purity that will prepare them for the turbulent years ahead. We had an awesome time at our girls trip and feel like we really got closer together. I am excited that Klara and I have started this conversation. We pray that this foundation will form the basis for honest and open communication with her for the rest of our lives. If your child is a pre-teen (or soon will be), we highly recommend this type of getaway! We appreciate your prayers for Klaras continued growth and development.

My camera is broken, so we dont have many good pictures this month . We hope to get it fixed soon! We appreciate your prayers for our kids more than we can say. We wanted to let you know a little more about their teachers so you can pray more specifically for them and their school. And since we just got report Martin playing leapfrog with a cards, we have other requests to statue at the park! share! Martins teacher is Hannah Miller. She is a lot of fun just like her picture (right). Martin is doing very well overall in first grade, but needs to work on his handwriting and his behavior. He isnt a bad boy (of course!) but he sometimes has too much energy! Please pray that Martin will continue to grow into the young man God wants him to be. Pray that he will realize there is a time for everything a time to play and a time to sit still, a time to talk and a time to be quiet! Klaras teacher is Steve Garvey (left). He has experience as a teacher and journalist in England, but this is his first year in Albania. Klara has really enjoyed him. Klara is also doing well over all, she just needs to work on being a little neater with her work. Mr. Garvey has a great blog about life in Albania from the perspective of a newcomer. If you would like to follow him, the address is www.stevealbania2.blogspot.com. Aleksander is continuing to make progress with his therapy. We hope to start ABCs soon! He is also verbalizing more and more words! Blessings on you for your prayers for our wonderful family!
