Re: Lighthouse Network! !

We are writing to you regarding the launch of the Lighthouse Network, in the hope that you will be able to join us for a prayer and vision evening which will take place on Wednesday 18th December at 7:30pm. ! ! The Lighthouse Network is a new network beginning at St Georges mid January, that seeks to engage those more vulnerable members of society in Gods love and kingdom in a structured environment. The vision for this network is as follows:! ! A network for those who wish to welcome and support more vulnerable members of society (addicts, those in recovery, homeless, ex offenders, etc.). A place of encounter where those on the margins can taste Gods love and experience His Kingdom in a safe and familiar environment. A place where fellowship and discipleship is found, in order for Gods Kingdom to continue to grow and bear fruit in the lives of His disciples on the streets and in their homes.!

This network will be structured around two meetings: a church gathering on a Sunday afternoon in the Crypt between 1pm and 3pm; and a small bible-study and discipleship group on a Wednesday afternoon between 4pm and 5pm. ! Our hope is that you would be able to join us on the 18th December to hear more about this project, get excited about what God is already doing in and around St Georges Church and explore the possibility of how you can help serve, pray for and resource this new network. ! The evening itself will run from 7.30pm - 9.30pm in the St Georges Church Centre, and will involve sung worship, sharing the vision of the Lighthouse Network, praying for the project and detailed discussion on how people can get more involved practically and otherwise. The evening will be hosted by Jon Swales, one of the senior leaders at St Georges Church, and will include contributions from other members of the launch team. ! ! Please be praying over this vision, we are incredibly excited to see growing discipleship and community in this area. We warmly encourage you to come along to this evening, and please do be thinking of any others with a heart for reaching those vulnerable individuals for whom this may be of interest.
