Remember the Titans is a film produced in 2000, produced by Boaz Yakin. This is the story of a high school football team in the 70's as the black schools and the white schools are integrated. The place and time of this episode took place in Virginia in 1971 , a time when racism especially between whites and blacks is still strong. This movie starring Denzel Washington as coach Herman Doone, he was placed into American football coach at TC William High School in Virginia. His Position as coach was replace coach Yoast (Will Patton), a white coach who is highly respected by his students and parents. Conflict and conflict take place in the William TC football team. To solve that conflict, Coach Yoast was finally accepted as part of the defense coach under the " supervision " Coach Boone. All the black students and white like oil and water , never got along , full of suspicion and anger. All about that racism start to changed when Coach Boone invited the team members to the stricken field where that is the place of battle Gettysburg. That bloodshed of that battle triggered by jealousy of differences in skin color. Learn from the dead. If we do not unite, this time, starting from the ground, then we will be destroyed as they are. We may hate each other, but we will learn to respect each other thats Coach Boone said. Their racial sentiments eventually turned into a solid sense of a strong team. The team players afro Americans and whites began to work together as teammates. Coach Boone and Coach Yoast began to turn into a mutual respect colleagues despite of their different skin color. So what happens next? Will they accept the community around togetherness whites and blacks? Will they win the football championship? To know what happens next, please watch the movie. You will not be disappointed with this movie.

This film contains a message that is able to hold a leadership character build solid synergy. "Ain't no mountain high enough," became the theme song for this movie. I admired the way the screenplay, by Gregory Allen Howard, doesn't make Boone noble and Yoast a racist, but shows them both as ambitious and skilled professionals. The actor in this movie is act so extraordinary. They lead us in the real atmosphere. All of this is said to be based on life, and no doubt largely is, but life was perhaps harder and more wounding than the film. It is more about football than race relations, and it wants us to leave the theater feeling not angry or motivated, but good. There are true and touching moments in the film, on top of its undeniable entertainment value. If I must give rating to this film, I will give 4.5 from 5 to this film.
