edu Career Objective: Full-time position as a professional health and physical education teacher using my knowledge of current methods and technologies to implement healthier lifestyles for students and help them live longer lives. Education: The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, 2011-present GPA: 3.50 Majoring in Kinesiology with a focus on health and physical education. I am currently taking classes which focus on creating and delivering quality health and physical education lessons and assessments to K-12 students. On my own time, I will be taking certification classes to aid in becoming a personal trainer through the NSCS program (National Strength and Conditioning Specialist). I took courses as an enrolled student in the Health and Physical Education program. Some courses I took included material related to methods of instruction, assessment, educational strategies, and other aspects of teaching quality health and physical education. Experience: Nittany Gymnastics Academy, State College, Pennsylvania (Presently employed) I am an introductory gymnastics instructor for elementary school aged children. Classes are focused on basic concepts related to gymnastics as well as basic movements and strategies related to the sport. I also coach two Parkour classes to elementary and middle school boys and girls which serve as an introductory and compliment to gymnastics as well as strength, speed, and agility training. Centre County Child Development and Family Counsel (CDFC), State College, Pennsylvania 2011 -2012 I worked as an Assistant Group Supervisor. My job was to help run the after school program at Ferguson Elementary School in Ferguson Township, State College, Pennsylvania. I led up to thirty-one students at a time in group games that recruited cardiovascular and muscular endurance, team building, and critical thinking skills. I also assisted students with homework, mediated arguments, worked to minimize safety risks, and supervised groups of up to twelve students without other staff present.

The Second Mile Friend Fitness Program, State College, Pennsylvania 2012 I held the position of fitness mentor. I lead a local high school student through a vigorous manual resistance strength training program one night per week to help implement a healthier lifestyle.
