Portable Instrument for Insulation Analysis
Survey gas insulated switchgear (GIS) with the DFA500, a four channel acoustic emission (AE) instrument designed to discover early signs of insulation problems. The DFA500 is equipped with a radio frequency interference (RFI) channel in addition to its four acoustic channels. With its new locator method, the DFA500 can detect flaws like bouncing particles, protrusions, floating potentials as well as mechanical vibrations. It is the ideal instrument for GIS commissioning and condition based maintenance.
