Asset and maintenance management

Controlguide Vicos S&D

Realtime Centralized Diagnostic System*

The Controlguide Vicos S&D service information and diagnostic system is a user-controlled diagnostic system for components and systems from Siemens and 3rd party components

The diagnostic system concentrates all relevant data from the field elements based on sensor information If predefined threshold levels are exceeded alarm reports are displayed. The optimized handling of this sensor information is allowed through data selection and prioritization Knowing the "health-status" of the system predictive maintenance gets possible

Passenger information and station mgmt systems
Controlguide RailCom Manager Controlguide PIS (PACIS)* SystematICS Integrated Control

Siemens Controlguide RailCom Manager (RCM) integrates multiple communication subsystems into one coherent network controlled by one common graphical interface The RCM allows the operational staff to integrate the control of all safety and control systems (like CCTV, public address and passenger help points) managing electrical traction power networks Respond to actual and predicted failures in the railway infrastructure Real-time information continuously available to passengers

Rail Communication Manager provides train information, manual messages and audio to subway stations Messages are automatically generated by train movements and project related rule set A total integration of public address and customer information into one single platform is possible It is a highly scalable architecture with flexibility in using new devices. It handles single and complex station installations controlled by one station controller Next to supporting live, ad-hoc and prerecorded messages, PIS allows zoned announcements

System designed specifically to integrate multiple railway control systems to one workstation, providing operators with the right information at the right time Allows significant reductions in personnel needed to operate complex networks, whilst improving response times and operational efficiency Based on a modular architecture allowing distribution of services across many physical servers Proven on some of the worlds most complex and highest ridership railways (e.g. Hong Kong, Vancouver)

* WinCC OA based; also used for SCADA applications
