Consequences and the difference between Karma Karma is the belief that when you do something, good or bad,

that the universe sends it back. In modern Wicca there is the three fold law. Which means whatever you do it comes back three times this was further popularized by the movie the Craft, although there is a big difference between western and eastern Karma. In Hindu good karma is produced usually by when one has performed their duties of their social class, this is called caste. They belief that the soul is trapped in a circle of birth and rebirth called the Samsara. The ultimate goal is the moksha, which means they must suffer. If the person preforms their duties in their caste, they can be reborn into a higher caste or social class. They believe that because Karma is its own law, there is no divine intervention. Buddhists believe that the soul gets accumulated karma. The soul has five parts skandhads, aggregates of body, sensation, perceptions, impulses, and consciousness. All karma expires after death, but the soul retains amount and thats where you get accumulated karma, it becomes vijana, of the germ of consciousness. They try to escape the Samsara by complete passiveness. To end the cycle of reincarnation one must achieve nirvana by passing through multiple lifetimes and following the ways of the eight fold path. Western Karma is a perceived version of the Eastern Karma. While Karma affects the soul in eastern religion, western karma effects the body. Its a system of sin in a sense. While sin is something one must avoid but happens, and can be taken away by confessing them. A lot of people also say Karma is weighed at the end of life, in order to be welcome into the afterlife The system of western Karma is basically whatever you do comes back, from the pervious, we can now know the differences between western and eastern Karma. Consequences are different from Karma. Consequences are a price, if you want this to happen then you have to get this as well. Its a gift with purchase, usually unwanted but needed. This is one of the bases for my practices. If you want to curse someone for example, depending on the curse there is something that comes with it. These vary depending on what you are doing, how strong or not. It can be bodily ache, spiritual ache, and lack of senses for a time. Consequences are not a sin system in the sense because they are not a law, they are not always the same or consistent. While Karma is absolute! I hope this helped everyone better understand my practices and why my beliefs are this way.
