About Me
My name is Trevor Hellman, and I am a graduating senior from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I studied Broadcasting Journalism with an emphasis in video production. I have a passion for everything creative, and am looking to pursue a career in Advertising. I have an incredible passion for my work, and put forth 110% in whatever I am doing, regardless of difficulty. I am extremely self-motivated, and am determined to be successful. I crave learning, and have a passion for discovering and creating new things.

Experience
Hudl May 2013 Present Hudl is a software company based in Lincoln that helps athletics coaches upload game and practice footage for film study. I serve as the Coach Relations Intern, and work extensively with high school and college coaches from all sports to resolve issues with the Hudl website or Hudl mobile app. I often do remote sessions in which I get onto coaches' computers, and fix technical problems that are causing the Hudl software not to function properly. Served as the Producer for the womens soccer team, which included shooting the game live and editing the highlight videos for Huskers.com. I have edited countless segments for the NSide Nebraska Show, which runs weekly on local television stations. Lead editor of Huskers in the NFL, which is a 30 sec. to 1 min. long spot that features during timeouts at Nebraska home football games. Also was the boom and parabolic microphone operator for home football games on the field and in the locker room. Served as Camera 1 operator for womens basketball, which is the main play-by-play camera that is shown on the screens during the game. Served as camera 3 operator for mens basketball, which is a down camera following the play from the court. Served as the EVS operator for Womens and Mens gymnastics, in which I ran live replays and clipped highlights to be used in highlight videos on Huskers.com. I also run down camera and EVS for the NSAA Boys State Basketball Championships. I shoot ISO camera for the Nebraska Mens Baseball Team, and travel with the team and shoot their games home and away.

Education
University of Nebraska -Lincoln August 2009 December 2013 Bachelor of Journalism from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. I was a broadcasting major with an emphasis in production. I had a cumulative GPA of 3.3. I am a Buffett Scholar and member of the William H Thompson Learning Community. I was also a member of the HSSRHA, which is the hall government for the dorms that I lived in. I also played for the Nebraska Mens Club Soccer team.

Broadcasting related- I have experience with EVS and the Crossfire systems, I have had significant camera work in classes, as well as work doing high angle play-by-play camera for basketball and baseball. I also shot down camera for basketball, soccer, and baseball. I have taken Videography and Photography classes, as well as graphic design and multimedia for Internet web pages. I worked on live broadcasts of BTN Student-U productions. I also helped in Advanced production in which we produced a live weekly news broadcast.
