EOHSMS-01(B) 1 PURPOSE

Ryobi Kiso (S) Pte Ltd

The purpose of this procedure is to assist the management team to set Environmental Occupational Health & Safety objectives and targets, based on the ranked impacts identified in the Risk Assessment Register to achieve the goals outlined in the QEOHS Policy adopted by Ryobi Kiso.

2 2.1

PROCEDURE General 2.1.1 Ryobi Kiso will identify and rank its significant Workplace Safety and Health impacts as per Risk Assessment and In-House QEOHS Rules and Regulations. Management will review and determine impacts whose level of risk warrants a management response with the setting of an objective and target(s). The setting of objectives and targets will be undertaken on an ongoing basis by the senior management team in consultation with the Safety and Health committee.

Setting Objectives In setting objectives consideration will also be given to the following: Ryobi Kisos Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Policy; Significance impacts as identified in accordance with Risk Assessment Register Legislation and regulations as identified in accordance with IN-HOUSE QEOHS RULES & REGULATIONS business requirements; operating conditions; financial and technological options; and views of interested parties (stakeholders). Objectives will be aimed at broad level improvements in EOHS performance and supported by specific performance targets.

Recording and Communicating Objectives and Targets 2.4.1 2.4.2 The objectives and targets are recorded in the EOHS Management System. The Yard / Site Managers and personnel concerned are responsible for ensuring the objectives and targets are communicated to relevant Ryobi Kisos employees and respective allies.

The review and re-setting of objectives and targets is to be undertaken as required, and as part of the normal business plan. Objectives and targets will also need to be reviewed and amended in line with changes to the QEOHS Policy, legislation and/or new safety and health impacts. Changes to the objectives and targets must be supported by documented evidence and quarterly meeting minutes explaining the reasons for the change. Changes must be communicated to all relevant personnel. Objectives and targets must clearly link with the goals stated in the Ryobi Kiso QEOHS Policy.

Responsibilities a) b) c) The CEO / General, Project and Operation Manager are accountable for the development of generic (site wide) objectives and targets. Officer in charge of each department is accountable for the development of Department specific objectives and targets. The Chairman of EOHS Committee is accountable for tracking the performance against objectives and targets as part of management review of the Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Management System. The Workplace Safety and Health Officer is accountable for supporting the development and achievement of objectives and targets.

DEFINITIONS A Quality Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Objective refers to an overall environmental, occupational health & safety goal, arising from the QEOHS policy that is set by Ryobi Kiso to achieve broad level improvements. A Quality Environmental Occupational Health & Safety Target refers to a detailed performance requirement, quantified practical, applicable to the operation or Department, that arises from the Environmental Occupational Health & Safety objectives and which needs to be set and met in order to achieve the objectives. Policy Goals are the listed points of Ryobi Kisos QEOHS Policy.

S/NO OBJECTIVES PERFORMANCE INDICATOR No. of piles with eccentricities needed < 6% of the total piles installed. To receive less than 5% of core samples failure. The total cost of rebar consumed for each project shall not exceed the budget provision (Taking into consideration rate and wastage) by more than 3%. The total cost of concrete consumed for each project shall not exceed the budget provision (Taking into consideration rate and wastage) by more than 3%.
