DomesticHotWater
System Characteristics Domestic Hot Water (DHW) will be provided by efficiently collecting solar radiation and preheating the water to 140F this in turn will feed directly to a propane "on demand" instantaneous hot water heater . The solar hot water heater will be located on the roof of the golf cart port. It is a passive system with no moving parts that operates on local water pressure and solar radiation. Water flows through the cold inlet into the lowest tube of the unit, the tubes are connected in series so that the top of the lower tube feeds the bottom of the next tube thereby ensuring the delivery of the hottest water for each usage. The solar collector / heater has a capacity of forty gallons. The hot water from the solar heater flows through a propane fueled "on demand" tankless hot water heater. This water heater is specifically designed as a backup to preheated water produced by solar based systems. Its tankless design saves floor space and will save energy and costs, as it only operates when your preheated water needs a boost in temperature. Only in the event of extended cloud cover or heavy night usage will the heater be required to operate Features

SchoonerBay IntegratedWasteManagement Phase1

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) consists of solid materials that will be discarded by Schooner Bays community. It includes food scraps, containers, product packaging, residential landscape waste, household discards (e.g. paper, electronics, furniture, clothing, appliances, paint and batteries), construction and demolition (C&D) waste and light industrial debris. In addition to MSW, a portion of the solid waste sent to the treatment facility may include hazardous items (e.g. paints, insecticides, dead

animals and raw animal wastes) which would then present special disposal problems. An integrated waste management facility capable of dealing with the communitys waste in an environmentally and economically sustainable way must be based on a coordinated blend of practices that include source reduction,

recycling (including composting), and disposal. According to data from the EPA, the average waste generation rates range between 5 8 lbm/capita day with an average for the nation of 4.6 lbm/capita day. For design studies, 5 lbm/capita day is commonly used (other methods include generation per housing unit, e.g. Broward County, Florida assumes 8.9 lbm/household day). Waste Management The Village of Schooner bay will implement a separation at source policy with a focus on volumetric reduction. Domestic waste will be separated into three separate waste receptacles, namely combustible, non combustible and recyclable materials and will be collected curbside at designated times. Yard waste and clippings including household wastes that may be composted will be collected at separate times and composted for use in landscaping additives.

TRANQUILITY CONSOLE (TRC) SERIES WITH EARTHPURE REFRIGERANT The Tranquility series (TRC) console unit provides a high efciency WSHP ductless solution for spaces where individual, quiet control of the heating and cooling system is important. TRC units are especially ideal where ceiling height and space are limited, or when preserving the integrity of an existing structure. The TRC series exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 efciencies, yet maintains small cabinet dimensions. Using EarthPure refrigerant, the Tranquility console not only protects the environment, it does so while delivering unprecedented comfort, efciency, and reliability. Available in sizes 3/4 ton (2.64 kW) through 1-1/2 tons (5.3 kW) with numerous cabinet, water piping and control choices, the TRC series offers a wide range of units for most any installation. The TRC has an extended range refrigerant circuit, capable of ground loop (geothermal) applications as well as water loop (boiler-tower) applications. Standard features are many. Microprocessor controls, galvanized steel cabinet, polyester powder coat paint and TXV refrigerant metering device are just some of the features of the exible TRC series. ClimateMasters exclusive double isolation compressor mounting system makes the TRC series one of the quietest console units on the market. Compressors are mounted on vibration isolation springs to a heavy gauge mounting plate, which is then isolated from the cabinet base with rubber grommets for maximized vibration/ sound attenuation. Options such as e-coated air coil, DDC controls, internal pump and factory-installed water solenoid valves allow customized design solutions. The TRC Series console water-source heat pumps are designed to meet the challenges of todays HVAC demands with a low cost/high value ductless solution.
