File xing, which is very time-consuming on the CAD level, is completed quickly with 3-matics range of automated tools. Our remesh technology easily generates high quality surface or volume meshes. Improve correlation far beyond FEA obtained from CAD data by accurately capturing physical shape in the FEA mesh. FEA on parts without CAD (e.g. legacy parts) is no longer impossible or uneconomical. Use our FE technology to study behavior instead of just geometry of scanned parts. 3-matic allows you to reconstruct and optimize point cloud data directly. Within minutes, Materialise image processing technology, Mimics, translates Technical Computed Tomography and micro-CT scan data into an accurate, full 3D model that can be manipulated further using 3-matic.
