ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Post-Graduate Degree/ M.Phil./ P.G.Diploma/ Diploma/ Certificate Courses under Scheme-A and Scheme-B with different fee structures as detailed in the prospectus, offered at (i) Manasagangotri (Mysore), (ii) P.G.Centre Tubinakere (Mandya), (iii) Hemagangotri (Hassan) and (iv) University Satellite CentreChamarajanagar during the academic year 2013-14. Entrance Examination is Compulsory for All postgraduate degree courses for all candidates except foreign nationals with foreign degree. Candidates have to
apply and appear for entrance exam separately for separate courses, except M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Tech (CCT) and M.Tech (CST) for which candidates have to contact Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore560 003. 6 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1.

The Prospectus and the Application form may be obtained from 06.07.2013 in person in the Office of the Administrative Officer, Senate Bhavana, Manasagangotri, Mysore- 570 006 OR from the Offices of respective PostGraduate Centres, on payment of Rs.200/- for each application form.

2. The candidates can also get Application form inclusive of the prospectus

through post, by sending Demand Draft for Rs. 300/ ( Rs.100/- towards Postal Charges) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Mysore, Mysore
3. Candidates may also down-load the Application form from the University Website:

http.uni.mysore.ac.in and submit the same with a demand draft for Rs.200 (Two Hundred only) towards application fee, drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Mysore, Mysore 4. Separate application form should be submitted for admission to each course and also for seeking admission to one and the same course at different PostGraduate Centres. 5 The filled-in application form in all respects of all courses ( except for M.Phil) along with necessary certificates and copies of marks cards and certificate relating to caste/ category in case of claim for reservation under such category / caste should be submitted to the Chairpersons of respective Department of Studies at Manasagangotri, Mysore 570 006 on or before 05.08.2013 (latest by 5 P.M.).

The last date for admission for M.Phil degree course is 13.09.2013. The candidates who intend to join for M.Phil course are required to contact the Chairperson of the concerned department of studies in this regard.
