Polygenic inheritance is used to refer to the inheritance of quantitative traits, traits which are influenced by multiple genes, not

just one. In addition to involving multiple genes, polygenic inherita nce also looks at the role of environment in someone's development. One easily understood example of polygenic inheritance is height. People are not just short or tall; they have a variety of heights which run along a spectrum. Furthermore, height is also influenced by environment; someone born with tall genes could become short due to malnutrition or illness, for example, while someone born with short genes could become tall through genetic therapy Solar Panels:- basic element- pure silicon; When silicon is stripped of all impu rities, it makes a ideal neutral platform for the transmission of electrons; Solar panels are created by combining silicon wit h other elements that do have positive or negative charges eg: P; When the negative plates of solar cells are pointed a t a proper angle to the sun, photons bombard the silicon/phosphorus atoms.Eventually, the 9th electron, which wants t o be free anyway, is knocked off the outer ring. This electron doesn't remain free for long, since the positive silic on/boron plate draws it into the open spot on its own outer band. As the sun's photons break off more electrons, electricit y is generated. Nitrile gloves are a type of disposable glove made of synthetic rubber. They con tain no latex proteins and offer excellent resistance to wear and tears. Nitrile gloves are more puncture resistant than many other types of rubber glove s and can be used to offer superior resistance to many types of chemicals. often considered to be one of the the strongest types of disposable glove and ar e generally safe for people who are allergic to latex. popular for their high degree of flexibility and superior solvent resistance. resistant to many oils & some acids =>makes a good choice for many manufacturing environments. used in the emergency medical service fields, such as by paramedics. Cybernetic theory has four components: variety, circularity, process and observa tion. Variety relates to the information and communication/control theories and emphas izes choices. Circularity ignores concepts of hierarchy in systems, favoring a more level play ing field. Process looks at feedback loops and involves regulations within systems. Observation involves decision making and how we compute conclusions. DNA fingerprinting is a way of identifying a specific individual; also known as genetic fingerprinting or DNA profiling used both for identifying paternity or maternity and for identifying criminals o r victims. discussion of using it as a sort of personal identifier as well, although viabil ity of this is debatable. DNA fingerprinting uses a specific type of DNA sequence, known as a microsatelli te, to make identification much easier. Microsatellites are short pieces of DNA which repeat many times in a given perso n's DNA. In a given area, microsatellites tend to be highly variable, making them ideal for DNA fingerprin ting. By comparing a number of microsatellites in a given area, one can identify a person relatively easily. sections of DNA used in DNA fingerprinting, although highly variable, are passed down from parents to their

children useful in the case of identifying victims because even in cases where the body m ay be disfigured past identification, and teeth or other identifying features may be destroyed, all it takes is a sing le cell for positive identification
