Overall aim of the position Undertaking appraisals and provide instruction in the gym safely and effectively, assisting and providing quality services to hotel/resort clients Working Hours: 48 hours per week excluding an hour break per day. Reporting to: Spa Manager Duties and responsi ilities: Understand the needs of the client and plan the workout routine accordingly. hoose correct set of for the client. !emonstrate the exercises and ensure that the client is performing the exercises correctly. "xplain the effects of particular exercises to the client. "nsure that the gym equipments are in good condition. #otivate the client to achieve the set fitness goals. $o ensure that the designed workout routine is followed properly. $o design a rehabilitation program in case the client suffers from some in%ury. &rovide nutrition and diet program to the client to enhance the workout program. $o provide all clients with the highest standard of information on health and fitness issues at all times $o run theory and practical orientated workshops for gym clients $o supervise gymnasium studio, ensuring clients are using effectively and safely $o ensure equipment is not misused in any way, that the studio is left tidy and equipment put away 'e aware of professional limitations and make referrals to other qualified professionals when participant / client needs exceed scope of knowledge 'e aware of, and conform to, all laws that affect professional practice and recogni(e the importance of duty of care, public liability and professional indemnity )bility to analy(e and respond to changes in the health and fitness industry $o work effectively in a team environment, in order to provide the best possible service to the clients $o motivate clients to ensure exercise compliance *eport all accidents, incidents and ha(ardous situations occurring in the gym area.

'e fully aware of all spa hotel/resort services in order to be able to promote it. ,ave a complete understanding of the company-s procedures in respect to health, hygiene and safety $o ensure that wastage of cleaning materials is kept to a minimum and cleared as required. $o attend all training scheduled programs, even if this should fall outside your regular working hours. $o report to the .pa /*ecreation #anager, any unusual incidents, complaints, missing items or damaged hotel property. $o follow company rules and regulations $o perform any other reasonable task as directed by the management "nsures that all equipments are cleaned, maintained and handled in accordance with spa hotel/resort standards and what they are meant for. *eports lost property to .pa /*ecreation #anager in accordance with company-s procedure. &erforms any other reasonable tasks as directed by the management.
