Terms & Conditions Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Heritage Xplorace 2014 is open to citizens of all nationalities and only the first 250 teams that register in accordance to the terms and conditions will be eligible to participate. Each team shall consist of 2 persons aged 18 and above, however participants below 17 years old must be accompanied by their eligible guardian aged 18 and above, and must obtain parent/guardian permission. Each team member MUST be in a good health and fit to participate in this event. Only teams that comply with the conditions of participation will be eligible to take part in the race. Each team member MUST wear the Xplorace T-shirt with race number throughout the race and will be disqualified if they fail to do so. The Organizer reserves the right without assigning any reason therefore to disqualify and/or impose penalty points on any team found to have been:a) In breach of these Rules and Regulations; or b) Cheating in any manner; or c) Providing false and/or incomplete information; or d) Unable to complete the race within the stipulated time. Each entry form has to be accompanied with an entry fee of RM80.00 per team for MyKad holder and RM130.00 per team for International participant. Malaysian participant and International participant are not allowed to enter as a team. Incomplete entry forms will be rejected. NO REFUND will be made for incorrect or multiple entries or participants who wish to withdraw from the competition All registered participants will be sent an email confirming their participation and informing them of the Briefing Date and their Competition Details (Eg Race No etc). A receipt will be issued at the Briefing during collection of running tags. Incomplete entries, i.e not accompanied with fees, will be rejected. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry. The Rules & Regulations, may be added to or amended at the discretion of the Organizer. Any additions and amendments to the Rules and Regulations, and the interpretation thereof, and the decision of the Organizer in all matters concerning the competition shall be final and binding on all participants. Each team agrees that the Organizer and Sponsor shall be entitled to the first right of refusal to use any contestant as talent in ads or for product endorsement for promotion purposes. The Organizer and Menara KL Sdn Bhd reserve all rights in and to the images and videos captured during the event for promotional use via TV commercials, print, web media and/or any other type of media. All entries MUST be on the prescribed forms. Photocopies of entry form are also accepted. Entry forms are also available at Muzium Telekom and in our website: www.menarakl.com.my. All participants are allowed to use public transportation. (a) Public transportation shall be limited to Bus, Monorail and LRT only. (b) Public transportation DOES NOT include taxi, personal car, bicycle or motorcycle or any other mode of transport not specified in clause 20 (a). The use of taxi, personal car or other vehicle, bicycle or motorcycle or any other mode of transport not specified in clause 20(a) is grounds for immediate disqualification.
