Dear Clients and Friends: On behalf of our family at the Herman Legal Group, I wish you the most wonderful holiday season and a safe new year! At this time of reflection, it is hard to believe that our firm has been in business now 19 years! Time flies when you are helping others --- and you enjoy doing it! This has been an exciting year for us. Attorneys Vania Stefanova and Charmaine Rozario have scored some huge victories for clients this year! Attorney Frank Krajenke, former lawyer to the Mexican Consulate in Detroit, has been appointed to serve our firm as Of Counsel. We are happy to welcome Mr. Ivan Gomez to our team this year. Our paralegal experts, Ms. Connie Cook and Ms. Elaine Tai, continue their good work in helping us build strong cases for our clients. This last year, weve launched a weekly radio talk show in Columbus on 1550 am where I talk about immigration and other legal issues facing the immigrant community. In 2013, weve helped produce some significant events in the community, including the Welcoming America event at MetroHealth Hospital in July, Convencion Hispana in October, the Multicultural Happy Hour for Immigration Reform in February, as well as the Fundraiser for Nueva Luz Urban Resource Center in October. Looking forward to 2014, we will continue working hard for our clients, as well as advocating for immigration reform and more immigrant-friendly communities. I will continue speaking at events in Ohio and around the country on the moral and economic imperative for fair and reasonable immigration law reform.
