1. Cover 7 sheets of Phoomph with fabric on one side and velvet on the reverse. Cut into 3x3 squares, yielding 84 pieces. 2. Roll each square into a cone by bringing two opposing corners together, with fabric outside and velvet inside. Use hot glue to secure the seam and hold the cone shape. 3. To make the backing for the angel wings, trace the left wing template on foam core. Flip the template and trace the reverse to make the right wing, ensuring that the wings are joined evenly together. Punch holes in the foam core as indicated on the template and thread a long piece of ribbon from which to hang the wings. Leave at least 24 of ribbon tails coming out of the back of the foam core to make a decorative bow. 4. Glue each cone onto the front of each wing, starting with the outside perimeter and working inward, overlapping each successive row of cones over the previous. Use as many cones as necessary; you may have cones left over. Leave 3 bare where the wings join together to be covered by the Blessing sign.

1. Begin by creating 3 foundation circles as follows: Remove the backing from one side of a sheet of Phoomph and adhere to the wrong side of one of the fabrics. Repeat with two more sheets of Phoomph. Cut out 3 circles, 8 in diameter. The fabric-covered side will be the interior of the tree topper and will not be seen. 2. Remove the backing from another sheet of Phoomph and adhere to felt. Cover one side of the remaining sheets of Phoomph with fabric. Sheets of Phoomph may be cut in half and covered with different fabrics to create variety. Cut out 60 circles of varying sizes, approximately 1, 1 and 2 diameters with a die-cut machine or scissors. 3. Circles will be arranged in an overlapping pattern on each foundation circle. Use approximately 20 small circles on each. Peel away the paper backing from the foundation circle. Peel away the paper backing from the small circles one at a time and adhere to the foundation circle. Repeat with the remaining foundation circles. For the small circles on the perimeter of the circle that extend past the foundation circle, cut pieces of felt to match the shape and adhere to exposed Phoomph.

4. Select one foundation circle and on fabric side, draw a line down the middle. One end of the line will be the top point. Determine the size of the opening required to accommodate the tree. Mark the size of the opening on the opposite end of the middle line. (If the opening is to be 4, then mark 2 from either side of the middle line). Draw a line to connect the top point to the outer points, creating a triangle in the middle of the circle. 5. Mark the same points on the remaining two foundation circles. 6. Apply hot glue to the backside of a foundation circle on one side of the marked triangle. Align another foundation circle to the glued area. Repeat until all three foundation circles have been secured together, leaving a cone-shaped opening in the center.
