What you will need:

Phoomph for Fabric, Soft, white7 sheets Crushed velvet, yard Fabric to match velvet, yard Cardstock Ribbon, 2 yards Lace ribbon Foam core board Scissors or rotary cutter with mat Hole punch Hot glue

1. Cover 7 sheets of Phoomph with fabric on one side and velvet on the reverse. Cut into 3x3 squares, yielding 84 pieces. 2. Roll each square into a cone by bringing two opposing corners together, with fabric outside and velvet inside. Use hot glue to secure the seam and hold the cone shape. 3. To make the backing for the angel wings, trace the left wing template on foam core. Flip the template and trace the reverse to make the right wing, ensuring that the wings are joined evenly together. Punch holes in the foam core as indicated on the template and thread a long piece of ribbon from which to hang the wings. Leave at least 24 of ribbon tails coming out of the back of the foam core to make a decorative bow. 4. Glue each cone onto the front of each wing, starting with the outside perimeter and working inward, overlapping each successive row of cones over the previous. Use as many cones as necessary; you may have cones left over. Leave 3 bare where the wings join together to be covered by the Blessing sign.

Cut along pencil lines with scissors. Use a variety of fabrics to make a total of 25 pockets. 2. To make the pockets, fold each of the four sides towards the center, overlapping the sides first, the bottom next with the top flap last. Hide a gift in each of the 25 pockets prior to closing. Tie pockets closed with craft thread. 3. To make calendar numbers, cover a sheet of Phoomph with cardstock paper. Trace 25 1-inch circles on the cardstock. For best results, use a die cut. Number circles 1 through 25, peel away paper backing and attach one to each pocket. 4. To hang the Advent Calendar make a loop from a chenille stem or bendable wire to thread the ribbon through the top flap of each pocket until the desired length is reached. 5. For added decoration, loop or knot lengths of ribbon between each pocket.
