================= ================== ====

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Welcome to my wonderful Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana FAQ! At time time I am writing this, there is not any other Full FAQ for this game, just incomplete ones and in depth ones. My goal is for this FAQ to become the first fully complete Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana FAQ on GameFAQs. However, at the rate I take to complete FAQs, I doubt this will actually happen, but I'm going to try. Also, a nifty $50.00 bounty is a nice perk that will hopefully keep me writing. I usually write FAQs for old NES games, and rarely RPGs, so writing for an RPG for the Playstation 2 is roughly a new experience for me. I enjoy playing this game very much, but there is so much to do in the game, and I'm no expert; I'll probably end up not talking about several things you can do. If you notice something I didn't talk about, please contact me, and I'll throw it in there, and credit your name. I hope that in time this will become a very complete FAQ, and the best Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana FAQ ever written. But for now: I just hope it helps you get past whatever part you're stuck on. Keep your swords sharp! -NMorgan

July 19th 2005 - Version 0.77 -----------------------------

This is just a small update. I only added approximately 15 KB of data from version 0.76. I leave you hanging at the Blue Dragon boss fight in Alexia Cave. I'm going to be away (Myrtle Beach, baby!) for the next 5 days, so don't expect an update in that time period. Peace. July 17th 2005 - Version 0.76 ----------------------------Since the release of version 0.75, I have get a lot more work done on the Walkthrough. However, it is still complete. This version is roughly 190 KB big, and I'm still working complete it. Please check back to www.GameFAQs.com frequently for a version 1.0.

managed to not hard to complete

July 15th 2005 - Version 0.75 ----------------------------After much much work in the past 3 days, I have managed to finish the majority of this guide. Since this is such a popular game at the moment, I am going to release an incomplete version of this guide. With the exception of the Walkthrough, all sections of this document are 100% complete. Just give me another few days and the guide will be done. Since the majority of the guide is completed, but not all of it, I am marking this version as 0.75. Enjoy! July 12th 2005 - birth! ----------------------I've been known to stay up very late in the summer. Not just ordinary late, I'm talking a new definition of the phrase "staying up late". Many times I'll pull all nighters, but usually I'll go to bed anytime from 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and I'm not exaggerating. Well, I started this FAQ on July the 12th in the year 2005, and worked on it all morning when the rest of the USA was asleep. The guide was "born" at this date.

This is my very first FAQ for an RPG. Most of my other FAQs are for platformers. FAQs for RPGs are generally a lot longer and tougher to write than FAQs for platformers, so this is a nice experience for me as a FAQ writer. You may or may not have already known that the game developer company Gust has released many other Atelier games over the years in Japan. There have been such titles such as Atelier Elie, Atelier Marie, and Atelier Judie. From what I understand, Atelier Marie was released in North America, but wasn't very popular, but all the other Atelier games were strictly released in Japan only. I don't know why Gust just got the idea to release an Atelier game in North America, but I'm sure they happy they did it considering this game is one of the most popular PS2 games right now. There's something about the graphics of this game that I love. The graphics look a little juvenile and cartoonish for PS2 standards, but that's exactly what I love about them. It reminds me of many years ago back to the SNES days when I'd play Chrono Trigger and Earthbound every day. Gust could have tried to go all out with the graphics, but I'm glad they didn't. The 2D artwork has been done very well. I like the graphics just the way they are. In the game, you play the role of Klein, who is a young alchemist. You quickly

meet a very beautiful girl who helps you fight off a bird, and ultimately saves your life. This is the very beginning of the story. The girl then leads you into her town, and that's where the story starts off. Just like almost every other Japanese console style RPG, the story keeps getting interesting, with many tosses and turns, and will keep you hooked until the very end. The length of the game varies greatly. I've heard of people beating the game in 25 hours if they rush, which is still pretty long for a game. However, I've also heard some people who go through the sidequests and all the extra quests that beat the game in over 100 hours. It all depends if you are a completionist or not. If you rush through the game quickly...expect a good 25-30 hours game length. However, if you are a completionist, the game could very easily last you over 100 hours. As for the sound of the game. The sound very well matches up with the anime style graphics. It's not too serious, and not too terrible. The majority of the background songs are pretty catchy, however if you've had the game on pause for a long time (like me right now), they can get annoying. All in all, the sound is more a positive attribute to the game rather than a negative one. Good job. The game is a very well done Japanese turn based RPG. I give in a 9/10. It's definitely very good, superior to most other RPGs, but it doesn't have that special something to earn it a 10/10. Well, this is the concluding paragraph for this introduction part of the FAQ. Remember, when playing Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, you have to remember that I am no expert at the game, and that you may very possible discover something

that I didn't talk about in the FAQ. If you find anything like this, please email me as quickly as possible, and I will add it to the FAQ, and give you credit. Thank you for choosing my FAQ for help. Enjoy the FAQ!

This is the section for you! ----------------------Standard PS2 Controller ----------------------Start Button: Select Button: No main use. No main use.

X Button: Use this button when standing next to somebody to talk to that person. Also, if you are standing next to an important item, such as a Mana item, press X to pick that item up. The X Button also has a lot of minor functions, such as using it to skip hearing what people say, and to select items in the Main Menu, etc. It's a pretty important button. Square Button: The Square Button uses whatever object you have in the Action Dial, located in the top left of the screen. Press L1 and R1 to cycle through commands in the Action Dial, and when you have found a command you want to use, press Square to use it.

Circle Button: This is the all important jumping button. Press Circle to jump. This allows you to get to some nice places that you wouldn't ordinarily be able to get to. You can also use Circle as sort of a back button, to get out of places such as the Main Menu. Triangle Button: Press the Triangle Button during game play to bring up the Main Menu, which is similar to pausing the game. You can do many important things in the main menu, but I use it mostly to pause the game. When you are in the main menu, you can also press Triangle again to change the way the game displays the stats of the people in your party. R1 Button: When playing, press R1 to cycle through different commands in the Action Dial. R2 Button: No main use. No main use.

Right Analog Stick:

L1 Button: When playing, press L1 to cycle through different commands in the Action Dial. L2 Button: No main use. Left Analog Stick: You can use this analog stick to walk. You can only walk in 8 directions, so I recommend using the D-Pad to walk. D-Pad: This is the set of buttons I use to walk around. You can also use the Left Analog Stick, but I perfer using the DPad to walk, but different strokes are for different folks. You also use the D-Pad for various other minor functions, such as choosing different items in shops, or

picking things in the main menu, etc.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------================= ================== ==== ? 02) (~02CRS) Characters ?

================= ================== ==== -----------------------------------------------------------------------------This is a nice little section that gives brief explanations of each character that joins your party in the game. There are only five different people throughout the game that join your party, and this section will give you brief explanations of each member, along with a level list, which is nothing more than a table that tells you how much experience points that character will need to get to a given level. I am getting the age, height, weight, likes, dislikes, and dream for each character from the official Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana website, located at http://nisamerica.com, so I didn't make it up, and this information is official. In any case, I hope you get good use out of this section.

-------------Klein Kiesling

-------------Age: 17 Height: 5'4" Weight: 115 pounds Likes: knowledge of Alchemy Dislikes: Being treated like a kid Dream: Master of Alchemy Klein Kiesling is the main character of the game. He's the guy that you start out with, and the guy that you control for the main portion of the game. He is a wandering Alchemist. An Alchemist is a person who deals with Mana and Mana spirits. Alchemist's are pretty rare nowadays, so Klein is one of the few. Klein also becomes a Galgazit through the game, which is a person who finds and destroys Growloons. If you don't understand this, play the game, and it will be explained to you as the game goes on. Below is a level list of Klein, up to level 22. She jumps in and helps you fight off the Falcon Hawk, and ultimately saves your life. You meet up with her a little while later in the game, and talk to her, and she joins your party. She convinces you to become a Galgazit, which makes you one of the very few Alchemist Galgazits. Lita Blanchimont is a hottie. Below, is a level list for Lita, up to Level 24. -----Delsus -----Age: 24 Height: 5'9" Weight: 159 pounds Likes: Alcohol, women Dislikes: Nagging Dream: Hit it rich by discovering hidden treasures Delsus is another male who helps you greatly. You first meet him early in the game, but he joins your party after helping you escape from a group of Alkavana Knights. Delsus leads you into the sewer to make an escape from the knights, then shortly after joins your party. Delsus's main weapons is some type of bow, or catapault, or something where he doesn't have to get into close range combat like Klein or Lita. Delsus is the 3rd person to join your party, and a very big help. He is pretty wise, but usually has bad luck with the ladies. He even gets called a pervert by Lita at one point. Anyway, below is a level list for Delsus, which just tells you how much experience it takes to get to a given level. I only have up to level 26, but if you know any more, please email me promptly, and I will add the levels and give you credit. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------================= ================== ==== ? 03) (~03FWS) Full Walkthrough ?

================= ================== ==== -----------------------------------------------------------------------------This is the main part of the document. THE WALKTHROUGH! Chances are that this Walkthrough is the reason why you opened this document. If for any reason you are stuck, this section will help you get past any part in the entire game. You will notice that I put main events of the game in huge headlines, such as "Beginning of Game", below. Chances are, the part of the game that you need help with will NOT be headlined, so you'll have to

search around for it. Figure out what part of the game you're at, and skim down through the lines and search for it. You can also search for it by pressing Ctrl + F, and searching for a code found at the Table of Contents. In any case, this is the main part of the document, the part I spent the most time working on, and I wish you will enjoy it. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.1) B E G I N N I N G O F G A M E (~03F01) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ The game starts off with a series of short movies. The first movie is in a clearing in the forest with several large pillars piled in a circle, and energy rising from within the circle. Two characters enter the screen, Klein and Lita. These two characters are pretty important, so remember them. Lita proceeds to ask Klein about the first day they met, and the game gives you the impression as if something is troubling Lita about that day. The second movie is a Lady and a Cat Lady talking. The Cat Lady has some kind of a talk to complete, and the other lady is concerned for her well being. Then the Cat Lady leaves the house, and sets out for some type of destination. The third movie takes place on a high cliff. There are two odd creatures, one is called "Chief of Water", and the other is called "Chief of Fire." They're talking about waning mana. We're not exactly sure what this means yet, but we'll quickly learn as the game goes on. Then, a strange man will talk about how there isn't enough mana, and how he'll need the

Ruby Prism's power. RUBY PRISM is capitilized in the text of the game, so you know it has to be somewhat important. The next movie takes place in the Lapis Woods. Our hero Klein will run into a Falcon Hawk, which is where you go into the very first battle sequence of the game. You find out that it's odd for a Falcon Hawk to be roaming around the Lapis Woods, and ontop of that, you are out of elements, which will make this a tough fight for you. Luckily, Lita will jump into the battle to aid you. Simply keep attacking the Falcon Hawk until the Falcon Hawk runs away, it usually takes 3-4 turns. After the hawk runs, you and Lita will begin talking. Lita will call you a weakling, then offer to show you around Kavoc, which is the local town. You refuse her offer because you're stubborn. Popo will show up and tease you about Lita. When you gain control of your character again, follow the path to the northwest. Jump (press Circle) to get to the ledge above (that's what the sign says), then continue down the path. You will soon see the Falcon Hawk again, but it doesn't see you, so you quickly hide. Popo will advise you to get some elements before attempting to sneak past the bird. After this happens, walk back to about the area where you started, to tbe big tree. There is a giant blue stone sitting around the stump of the tree. Jump up to that part. When you are right next to the blue stone, a dialog will appear asking you if you want to take a tutorial. Take the tutorial. Listen to the tutorial carefully, it will explain how to extract elements, which is a very important thing to know in this game. After the tutorial is done, extract the elements from the blue stone at the stump of the tree, then extract the

elements out of the rocks and bushes around you. For a future reference, you can extract elements out of many objects. If you ever see an object that looks like it could be extracted, give it a try, it couldn't hurt! After extracting elements from the blue stone, rocks, and bushes, walk back up to the base of the tree, and press X to climb the tree, which leads you to a secret chest which holds a Feather Charm. Now climb down from the tree, and follow the path to the northwest back to where the Falcon Hawk is, and this time fight the Falcon Hawk for real. Now that you have your elements, you can defeat him! Defeat the Falcon Hawk with the Mana Synthesis option from the battle menu, just like the screen will tell you to do. Use an Ice Bomb on him, and he will die instantly. You'll gain experience for the first time. Another cutscene will occur, this time you talk to Popo about Kavoc, the nearby town, and then you decided to go into the town. This is where the game starts for real! +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.2) T O W N O F K A V O C (~03F02) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ Kavoc is a nice well built town. As you walk in and around Kavoc, always keep an eye out for items that can have elements extracted from them. For example, all of the boxes and barrels and baskets of fruit in the main area of Kavoc can have elements extracted from them. Many other items can too, so just keep an eye out. When you enter Kavoc, use the small barrels and boxes to the west to jump up onto the ledges there, then walk across the small

ledge to the east to find a large pouch with 260 Cole in it. Walk back across the small ledge, then continue to the west into the next screen. Continue past a small boy, then jump ontop of an orange rooftop and open the chest, which contains Pinenuts. The Weapons shop is right there, but I still think it's a bit early to be buying weapons. Walk back to the entrance of Kavoc, then go into the center part of this courtyard, you'll see a bunch of boxes and barrels. You can extract elements from all of these, but more importantly, there is a pouch sitting ontop of the boxes with 280 Cole inside it, so grab it. Also, there is probably some strawberry looking fruit, which is called Lando, that you can get. When you are done fiddling around, walk into the bar. You can tell it's a bar because there is a picture of a beer mug on the outside. Walk into this building. In the building, you will meet Norman the bartender, who will talk to you and give you two lunchboxes, you will have to deliver one to the Magic Shop, and one to the Grocery Store. He will also give you access to the journal, which allows you to save. The journal will be set on a table, I strongly advise you to save the game right now. Back outside the bar, it's time to deliver some lunchboxes! Walk across the courtyard, and up a set of steps, and into the Grocery Store. Talk to the lady, Lyla, behind the counter, and you will deliver the lunchbox to her. Now, leave the Grocery Store, and walk to the northwest into the new part of the town. In the new area, locate the town immediately to the right, which is the Magic Shop. Go into the Magic Shop, and deliver the lunchbox to the lady at the counter. She will accept the lunchbox, then advise you to go back into

the Grocery store to look at an alchemy item. Leave the Magic shop and go back into the Grocery store, and Lyla will lead you into a back room to show you some sort of alchemy related item. It ends up being a Heal Jar! A Mana tutorial will appear, follow the tutorial and pay attention to it. After the tutorial is done, Lyla will walk into the room, so talk to her. When you're done talking to her, leave the Grocery Store, and go back to visit Norman to collect your pay for delivering the Lunchboxes. He will give you 100 Cole for your services. A Mysterious Man named Delsus will butt into your conversation with Norman, and start talking about a tower to the west. He is actually talking about the Tower of Airfen, which was a place that used to be filled with Mana. This excites Klein, and now that is the next place that you must go to! In the Bar, save your game, then talk to Popo to heal yourself, and when you are ready, walk to the town courtyard, and exit Kavoc. Walk south now, and go into the Lapis Woods. Climb up onto the tree stump, and grab a few Spoiled Nues, a few Karikari Nuts, and a Fresh Dancing (three items). When you are ready, leave the Lapis Woods by walking down the path to the east. In the main navigation mode, follow the path to the south, and it will slowly turn into a semicircle, and start to lead you to the west, and eventually back north, around a few mountains. When you get to the Tower of Airfen, press X to enter the tower. In the Tower of Airfen, first get all the items around that you see, there is usually a nice variety of Spoiled Neus and Karikari Nuts. Now walk into the center of the pinkish spinning thing in the center of the area. Stand on

it, and press X, this will transport you to the top of the tower. At the top of the tower, you will be very high up, and you'll be able to see Henmil's Gate. Just like that...now you have access to travel to Henmil's Gate! That is the only purpose of the Tower of Airfen, for now. But before you leave, be sure to grab the Herbal Drop, which is the Mana chest ontop of the tower in plain sight. After getting this, you will realize that it is a Mana item, and you get an epiphany to look for more Mana items in the mountains. Now use the pinkish spinning thing to warp back to the base of the tower. Be sure to get all the items that have reappeared, then leave the Tower of Airfen. After leaving the Tower of Airfen, continue walking north along the path until you get to Henmil's Gate. Press X to enter Henmil's Gate. After entering the gate, you will find Lita, the hottie that helped you fight the Falcon Hawk at the beginning of the game. Continue talking to her, and eventually you will use alchemy on the rock infront of the gate. Notice the Mysterious Man that witnisses you use alchemy. Then, Lita will introduce the idea for you to become a Galgazit, and you accept. You are now an Alchemist Galgazit, something that is rare nowadays! But most importantly, Lita will join your party! Now walk up to the tent and press X to enter it. Take advantage of this tent to save, and talk to Popo to restore your health. When you are ready, leave the tent, and start walking back to the town of Kavoc. When you walk back into the Lapis Woods, you will meet two children and Pamela the Ghost. You'll talk to them, it's pretty odd to meet an actual ghost. When you're done talking with them, continue

through the Lapis Woods, and then all the way into the town of Kavoc. Back in the town of Kavoc, you will enter the Bar and Norman will let you and Lita use the extra house. Once you get into the extra house, you will go back to Norman and ask him if you can use alchemy in the house. He will grant you permission, but first you'll have to do him a favor. His favor is for you to pick up a Tingleberry from the Magic Shop. Leave the Bar, and head out for the Magic Shop. If you forget how to get to the Magic Shop, walk to the left of the bar, and follow the rock steps into the next area of Kavoc. When you get into the next area of Kavoc, a Woman will ask you about the flawless Marvel. The lady's name is Rurona, who just happens to be another alchemist, then you'll start talking about the Flawless Marvel. Just keep pressing X to wrap up your conversation with her. The Magic Shop is the building to the right with glass windows. Go into the Magic Shop and talk to the lady behind the counter, and she'll give you 3 Tingleberries. Veola will sort of "kick you out" of the Magic Shop, and Lita will complain about her rudeness. After leaving the shop, head back for the bar to give Norman the Tingleberries. Norman will thank you for the Tingleberries, and then you will have to use Shop Synthesis with the Tingleberries. Select 'Synthesis', and then keep pressing X, and Norman will have a Meuniere made for you. Popo will ask you if you want to take the Shop Synthesis tutorial, and you should. When the tutorial is finished, Norman will compliment your work efforts, and give you your reward, which is 5 Flour, 5 Green Powder, 5 Rock Sugar, 5 Ale, 5 Karkari Nuts, 5 Goat Milk, and 5 Canola Oil. Then, Lita will lead you back

into the house, where you will spend the night to rest. Unfortunately, you will be brought to an evil cutscene. The Mysterious Man that witnissed you use alchemy on the rock at Henmil's Gate has reported this to Sir Beggur. Sir Beggur will then order a night to bring Klein in for questioning. You can then use the couldron in the middle of your room to create Heal Jars and Bomb Ice. When all is done, talk to Popo to heal yourself, then write in the journal to save the game. Now leave the house, and walk out of Kavoc. At the same time you leave Kavoc, another man will rush in to report to the town that there are Growloons in the forest. Lita thinks that fighting Growloons will be fun, so she rushes out into the forest, and you are left to follow her. In the Lapis Woods, you will see Arlin slice at a Growloon. Arlin will walk away, and you will have to fight the Growloon, and several other smaller enemies around him. This is your first actual battle. Fight and destroy the Growloon, using Mana items if you want. After defeating the Mandragora and the other smaller enemies, head back for Kavoc, before you can leave the Lapis Woods, you'll see Arlin on the other side of the woods wondering about your alchemist powers. Then, leave the Lapis Woods, and go back into Kavoc, and into the bar again. Inside the bar in Kavoc, talk to Norman. He will compliment your duties as a Galgazit, and give you 500 Cole! Then, as you try to leave, Norman will introduce the GROWLOON HANDBOOK to you, and then you'll have to pick a team name for the Galgazit team of you and Lita. Of the team names you have to pick from, choose the one you like. This will be your Galgazit Team name, so I hope you like it. After picking your team name,

press X infront of the Growloon Handbook, just to get used to what it is. It basically just displays your team name, how many growloons you've defeated, and your rank. Now leave the bar, and jump back up to your house. Talk to Lita for a bit about Growloons, and then take the tutorial about Growloons. After the tutorial, a Thug will barge into your house, and tell you to go to the cathedral. if you don't know where Kavoc's Cathedral is located, stand next to the bar, and walk to the left up the stairs into the next area. In the next area, walk around the water, and up the next set of steps, and the cathedral is right there next to a stray cat, so walk into the cathedral. Inside the cathedral, you will immediately talk to Sir Beggur. Sir Beggur will ask you to join his army, and you will deny him, and then insult him for using power to control Mana. He will order his guards to seize you, but the fire Mana will burn the guards, and then run with you to help you escape. After leaving the cathedral, Delsus will find you, and lead you into the Kavoc Sewers. You and Lita will talk with Delsus, and Delsus will ultimately join your party!! Now you have to find a way out of the Kavoc Sewers. From the start point, walk to the right and you'll see a pile of four wooden boxes that block your way. Extract the elements from these boxes to make them disappear, then continue down that path to find a chest with Blue Bracer in it! Equip the Blue Bracer when you get the chance. Now retrace your steps back to almost the start point, and a path will break off that will lead south. Follow this path south, and jump over the two purple crystals there, then head east, and

you will soon see a wooden bridge to the south. Cross this wooden bridge, then walk to the west until you see two wooden boxes piled ontop of each other that are sitting next to a bunch of purple crystals. Break one of the wooden boxes, then jump on it to jump over the crystals, and you'll find a chest. Open the chest to find 360 Cole! Now head back to the east past the wooden bridge you crossed, and you'll find another wooden bridge. Cross this wooden bridge, then grab the Fest stones and Fest rock. Now walk to the west into an area for "Authorized" people only, and grab the chest there, and you'll get a Blue Mana. Now run to the east, and jump over a set of crystals, and continue to the east up a set of steps, and out of the Kavoc Sewers. The exit of the Kavoc Sewers that you just took is the back room of the Grocery Store. Leave this room and go into the main part of the Grocery Store. Delsus will lead you into the Kavoc courtyard. You get to watch a nice cutscene of the guards searching for you, but then giving up. After the coast is clear, your party will walk outside in plain sight. Your party will go into your house, and Delsus will suggest that you hide in Lake Forwell. And just like that both Lake Forwell, and the Forwell Theatre are now available for you to travel to. Ontop of that, Uru, the Mana of Fire will agree to help your party, which will allow you to use Mana fire items. You can now use Destruction Blast, and the game will ask you if you want to take the Destruction Blast tutorial, which you should do. After the tutorial is done, you should talk to Popo to heal yourself, then save the game. Now, although technically you are supposed to be fleeing Kavoc, I recommend walking back to the sewer entrance, and going back

into the sewers. Now that you know Destruction Blast, there are several more items that you can still obtain, such as Black Mana to the east, and a chest with 340 Cole to the south east (use logs). When (if) you have gone through the sewer the second time, after leaving the the sewer, go into the house, heal, and save your game. Now leave Kavoc, and head out for Lake Forwell. As soon as you leave Karoc, you will get a cutscene where Sir Beggur is apologizing to Mull for not finding Klein. Now we discover that Mull has plans for Lita also, and he mentions something about the Lineage of Iris. After that cutscene, walk east through the new passage. When you get to the fork in the path, head south. You will soon find the Outdoor Theatre, walk up to the outdoor theatre, and press X to enter it. Inside the Outdoor Theatre, walk to the very left side of the screen as far as you can, and you will find a very well placed Dark Mana that is half way off the screen. Also, if you blast away the purple crystals with Destruction Blasts, you can get to a bag that has 140 Cole in it. Now leave the Outdoor Theatre. Back outside, continue to head south until you come to a field. Press X to enter the field. In the field, use Element Extraction on the Growloons you see, then gather all the loose items, including a bag to the north that holds 220 Cole. Now leave the field, and continue along the path, which now leads to the east. As the path starts to curve north, you will see a town on the lake, which is Lake Forwell. Enter the town. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.3) L A K E F O R W E L L

(~03F03) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ Inside Lake Forwell, Delsus will run into the store, where Gremlis will give him an errand. The errand is to go into the forest and look for Stained Grass. The forest you need to go to is the Lapis Woods. But before you leave Lake Forwell, I recommend that you get the Mana item sitting next to Gremlis, which is Sleepaid. Also, enter the house sitting above the water. In this house, there are several lesser important items that you should get anyway, and there is also two bags, one with Twisted Lando inside, and the other with Feather Charm inside, get them both! Also, you can enter a save tent to the southwest of town if you want to heal and save. In When you are ready, leave Lake Forwell, and head back for the Lapis Woods. When you are back in the Lapis Woods, it will suddenly start to rain. When the rain stops, all 3 of you will be all soaked, and Lita will complain about it, and wander off for a place to dry herself away from the boys. Lita will find and start talking to a Lady Knight. They will start talking about the Lady Knight's seal, then the girls will meet back up with the boys. The Lady Knight will leave, and Delsus will be called a pervert, yada yada, when you gain control of your character again, climb the tree trunk, and you will find Broken Grass. It's not Stained Grass like Gremlis wanted, but it should do. Now walk all the way back into Lake Forwell, and talk to Gremlis again, and you will recieve 325 Cole for finishing the job. Delsus will suggest that you go back to Kavoc, which is where you will go next. Carefully navigate back to Kavoc. When you arrive back in Kavoc, go into the Wild Moss

Bar and talk to Norman. Norman will inform you that you're the talk of town for running from the Alkavana Knights. Norman will then tell you that there have been rumors of a mean ghost wandering around the sewers, so the next stop is the sewers. Walk into the 2nd part of Kavoc, the part of town where the sewer entrance is, and you will see Yach and Dia talking about the ghost, then Lita will show up and tell them not to worry and to go home. After Yach and Dia go home, go into the sewer. In the sewer, walk to the part where the electrified floor is. You will find Pamela there, who is not a very scary ghost. Pamela claims that she is not the ghost that has been scaring people, and that there is another ghost. Delsus will suggest that you head home. Good idea, Delsus! Start to head back home, which is above Norman's bar. After you're back into your home, Dia will barge in and ask if you've seen Yach anywhere. Nobody knows where Yach is! Pamela will come in through the wall and say that she saw him in the sewer earlier. So that's your next destination, the sewer. A good fight awaits you in the sewer, so heal and save before leaving your home. Once back in the sewer, head south past a few wooden bridges, and eventually you'll be brought to a cutscene. Yact is standing infront of the mean ghost that everyone's been talking about, and the ghost is about to shoot some Mana power at Yact. Luckily, Lita jumps infront of Yact and takes the blow. This is where you start the fight against the mean ghost. Remember, as Lita will tell you when you start the fight, you are fighting a ghost!! You can't use ordinary attacks to hurt it. That means no ordinary attack. However, all 3 of your characters should have Special attacks, and

Klein should even have Mana power, which will finish the ghost off quickly and effortlessly. I recommend using Lita and Delsus to defeat all the sludges first, and keep Klein occupied on the ghost. After all the sludges are defeated, which shouldn't take long, concentrate all 3 of your characters on the ghost, and the ghost will be defeated in no time. After defeating the ghost, some talking will be done, then Dia will give you a Red Bracer, which is her most prized possession. Now leave the sewer. Once you leave the sewer, head back for your home. When you get into your house, Lita will not feel so well, then she'll leave your party to take a nap. After leaving your party, you discover that there is something fishy going on with Lita, because she "pushed herself too hard". You obviously can tell that Lita is hiding something from you, and the fact that she randomly grows wings pretty much verifies this. So now it is just you and Delsus for a while. Head back into the Wild Moss bar and talk to Norman. Norman will give you 5 Milk, and he will also give you 3 Meunieres, but you have to give the meunieres to Lita, they aren't for yourself. Now leave the bar, and head into the 2nd part of Kavoc, the part of town that leads to the sewer, the part where the cathedral is. Then, immediately turn around and head back into the main part of town where the bar is. This little action will trigger a scene where the Cat Lady (remember her from the beginning of the game?) says "I finally found them", and then will proceed into the main part of Kavoc after you, as if she is following you. Now go back into your base. Once back in the base, Lita will be up and functional, so she will rejoin your party. Now I recommend pressing X at the

couldron to filling up your Mana items. Then talk to Popo to heal your party, then save the game. Now leave the house. Upon leaving, you will notice that the town is stirred up because the Outdoor Theatre is playing a show. This is your hint that the next place to go is the Outdoor Theatre. Leave Kavoc, and head for the Outdoor Theatre. If you forget how to get there, head east after leaving Kavoc, then head south at the fork. After entering the Outdoor Theatre, you will discover that the Alkavana are hosting the play, and therefore, there are guards on duty. As the play starts, the Cat Lady will enter. Now you get to watch the tragic play. After the play is over, you will watch the Cat Lady pickpocket you, Delsus, and a few others. The Cat Lady will leave, and you will discover that she has pickpocketed you then. Your book is gone, Delsus lost his flask, and cookies, and a surfboard have also been stolen from two others. You will suddenly rush out of the Outdoor Theatre, because you are going to find the Cat Lady. Quickly head back toward Kavoc. As soon as you enter Kavoc, you will spot the Cat Lady, and pursue her. You'll pursue the Cat Lady to the front of the cathedral. Two guards, Vier and Neun, will talk to the Cat Lady, and then you will rush in and scare her away. Arlin will then enter the scene, and tell you that the Cat Lady has ran off to the forest. So that's our next destination...To the Lapis Woods! When you enter the Lapis Woods, you will have to fight Sir Beggur and two of his knights, so you might want to heal and save first. When you are ready, leave Kavoc and enter the Lapis Woods. You'll get a cutscene where Sir Beggur will stop the Cat Lady, and then he'll see your party.

Since you insulted the Alkavana knights earlier in the game, he draws his attention towards you instead of the Cat Lady. The next thing you know, you're fighting Sir Beggur and his two noble knights, Ein and Zwei. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.4) B A T T L E A G A I N S T S I R B E G G U R (~03F04) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ This battle can be challenging, but it shouldn't get too tough. Obviously, Sir Beggur has significantly more hit points than Ein and Zwei. It makes the most sense to take out Ein and Zwei first, that way it will be 3 vs 1 most of the time instead of 3 vs 3. Most of the enemies attacks take two turns to complete. For example, Sir Beggur will take one turn to charge up an attack for next turn, so many of the time you will not be attacked. My advice is to quickly take out Ein and Zwei. Continually use Klein's Mana attacks on Sir Beggur. After Ein, Zwei, and Beggur are all defeated, Beggur will give a speech about how he'll get revenge on you, but it will be humorously interrupted by Ein and Zwei. Then, you'll ask the Cat Lady for your book back, but she'll get away YET AGAIN!! A prompt will come up asking you if you want to take the Battle tutorial, which you should. After the Battle tutorial is done, leave the Lapis Woods toward Kavoc. As soon as you leave the town, you'll get a cutscene of Sir Beggur's fury that you defeated him. He will then instruct three guards, Ein, Zwei, and Vier, to find you and arrest you. Despite this, continue into Kavoc, and walk into your house. In the house, you'll get a cutscene, and Delsus will tell you

that the Cat Lady is heading for Zeldalia's home in Poto's forest. So that is your next destination. The next cutscene is inside Zeldalia's house, which is in Poto's forest (this is your next destination). When this cutscene is over, talk to Popo to heal your party, use the couldron to replentish Mana items, then save. After saving, leave Kavoc and head toward Lake Forwel. If you don't remember how to get to Lake Forwel, go right after leaving Kavoc, then take south when you get to the fork in the path. Walk on this path past the Outdoor Theatre, and a field, and you will soon reach Lake Forwel. After entering Lake Forwel, Delsus and Lita will talk to an old man. You will tell the old man that you want to travel to the ruins, and the old man (Zazzy) will tell you that Alkavana passed a law that requires that you have a Visa to get to the ruins. You decide that you're not going to bother with a Visa, and are going to ride a boat to get across instead. So walk to the docks at the southern portion of Lake Forwel, and talk to the strong man by the pink duck boat. This man will ask you if you want to board the boat, and you will say "board". Now the Captain will take you across the river. After the Captain finishes taking you across river, Delsus will ask you where to go from here, and just like that, the Proselyte Encampment and Caravan Crossroads are now available for you to travel upon! Now, walk to the top of the screen, and leave the Crossroads. In the field, that path all the Proselyte Encampment by navigate to the east path, and follow the way to Encampment. Enter the Proselyte pressing X, and

you will see a nice colorful chest to the north. This is a Mana item chest, grab it and you will obtain flame. There is also a journal if you want to save. There is an Alkavana Knight guarding the other side of the Proselyte Encampment, so you can't go any farther, so turn back and leave. As you try to leave, Neun will stop you and tell you to give the Mana item back, and you will be presented with 3 options. It doesn't matter which one you choose, because Klein will keep the item no matter what. After leaving Proselyte Encampment, head back to the west back to the Crossroads, and then head north. Follow this path to the Collector's Caravan, and then enter the caravan by pressing X. In the Collector's Caravan, you will talk to Lector, and find out that she has Visas. You offer to buy a Visa from her, and she decided to make a deal instead. The deal is for you to make an Item List. You both agree to the deal, so she gives you the Visa. You now have a Visa!! Also, the game will ask you if you want to take the Collector System tutorial, and you should. After the tutorial is done, talk to Lector, and show her what items you already have, and she will probably give you some Cole just for having the items. Then, leave the Collector's Caravan. Now you need to return to Proselyte Encampment. Now that you have a Visa, the guard will let you past. Remember, to get to Proselyte Encampment, just take the right path at the Crossroads. When you finally get to Proselyte Encampment, press X to enter it. As soon as you press X to enter Proselyte Encampment, you will get a cutscene of Beggur commanding Ein and Zwei to patroll the area in search of your party! You are being searched for! After Beggur, Ein, and Zwei leave, Drei will be

left on duty, but luckily you haven't had any previous interactions with Drei, so he wont recognize you. Walk up to Drei and show him your Visa to get by. Now, leave Proselyte Encampment via the other side, the side that you haven't been to yet! Back outside, follow the path, which leads to the north. Follow the path to Iris's Resting Place, then enter the building by pressing X. Inside Iris's Resting Place, you'll automatically see a Growloon on a ledge above. Walk to the southeast of this room and open the chest there to find a Red Bracer, and get the other smaller lesser important items there. Now walk to the left and you'll see a door, walk into the door, and you'll enter a new room! You'll discover that the new room is a Furnace, and a man named Paco will talk to you. Paco doesn't say anything important, so just get the random items that are in this room, including a large bag with 340 Cole in it, and press X while leaning on the northern wall to find a Black and a Yellow Mana. There is also a tent here if you need to heal or save. When you are ready, leave the furnace, and go back into the main area of Iris's Resting Place. Now walk up the long steps to the left. You will see two small objects that are creating lightning. Do not touch these, because they'll take away health, but you can get close to them and Extract 3 Lightning elements out of each of them. Now continue walking on the ledge to the northeast and you'll see a Growloon floating in the middle of a dark hole, kill this Growloon by jumping and using a Destruction Blast in mid-air. Continue to the northeast over some purple crystals, and then kill the next Growloon you'll come across, then walk to the northwest. Continue walking and you'll see a dark statue. Press X at the statue, and you will start talking to Plua, who is

the Mana of Darkness, and she will agree to join your party. Now walk north and grab the dark sphere/orb for an extra 36 Evil elements! Now continue up the staircase there, and then up the staircase to the east, continue this way to get another Mana item, this time it will be a Mana Jar. Walk back north to the staircase you came from, but don't go down the staircase. Instead, walk to the east and use the purple crystals there to jump over the ledge. Walk to the right, and you will see a Growloon high above, and a bunch of rock platforms that lead up to him. Use these floating rock platforms to get to the Growloon, then get rid of the Growloon. After getting rid of the Growloon, you will notice a nice little chest behind him. Grab this chest, and you will obtain Sorcerer Support, which is a nice little weapon. Now retrace your steps back to the staircase that you came from. At the staircases, walk to the west through the west staircase. Look out for a set of spikes located on the platform below. When you see these spikes, you will also notice a platform to the southwest of the spikes, drop onto this platform, and then onto the ground. Walk to the middle of the large blue magic circle, and then south to an electrified floor. Ignore the electrified floor and walk west past a set of spikes, and then you'll see Mull. It's time for a cutscene...this time Mull will call Lita the "daughter of Iris", then he'll use magic to freeze all 3 of you in place, and take a Ruby Prism from Lita. After this cutscene is done, continue walking to the northwest and then leave Iris's Resting Place. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.5) P O T O ' S F O R E S T (~03F05)

+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ Now that you're out of Iris's Resting Place, we will arrive in Poto's Forest! We're in Poto's Forest to find the book that the Cat Lady stole, so let's find a house that Zeldalia might live in. There are LOTS of things that you can use elemental extraction on, so take advantage of this. Also, if you see any oversized mushrooms, you can extract them for some extra Dark and Spirit elements, which are relatively rare to come by. To start out in the forest, walk to the east. You will soon see a log that leads across a river, but do not cross this log just yet. Instead, continue to the southeast, and you'll see a chest. Grab the chest for an additional 340 Cole, then walk a little tiny bit to the northwest, and go across the river via the log. On the other side of the river, you can stand on the log and press X to get river water if you want. Also, there are several items just laying around that you can grab, and still numerous items that can be element extracted. There is also a large bag behind a bunch of bushes to the west that holds Glowing Mana, which you should get. Now, recross the log across the river to the first part of Poto's Forest (where you came from). Here, head all the way to the northwest, and you will see another log that leads across a river. Jump on this log, and follow it past a stone, and another log to get across the river. There is a chest to the north ontop of a bunch of logs with 370 Cole in it, and another chest behind a bunch of logs to the very north with 230 Cole in it. Now walk back to the log that you used to cross the

river. There is a grassy platform slightly to the northwest of the log that is higher than the rest of the platforms, jump onto this platform. Now walk to the west, and then across a log-bridge to the south, and go into the next part of the forest. Zeldalia's house is right next to you now!! But before going in, there is a chest to the south with 360 Cole in it. Now walk north above the giant pumpkin and you'll see a save tent. Go into the tent, heal and save, then leave the tent. When you are ready, use the giant tree stump as a ramp to the front door of Zeldalia's house, then walk into her house. You'll get a cutscene, and you'll talk to Zeldalia, who looks very young and gorgeous, but is actually 5 times older than Delsus. You tell Zeldalia that you want your book back, and she'll tell you that you don't deserve such a book, then she'll give you a test to see if you really do deserve the book, but Norn (Cat Lady) will test you, because Zeldalia has a bad back. You will now have to fight Norn!! The fight against Norn is pretty challenging. For one, you aren't just fighting Norn, you are fighting Norn, 7 Puni, and a Master Puni. When you start fighting, immediately use Lita to take out as many Puni as you can. Concentrate on defeating the Puni and Master Puni first. Remember that the Master Puni can heal all the Punis, so you might want to concentrate on the Master Puni first, and then the Puni. You're a smart person, figure out how to defeat the Master Puni and 7 Punis. When they are all defeated, it will be Norn against your party. Hopefully all 3 members of your party are still alive. Norn has an attack where she throws her staff at you, which

can hurt quite a bit, and she also has a sleeping spell. Norn isn't too hard by herself. The real hard part of this battle is defeating the Puni and Master Puni. However, once Norn is defeated, you will ask for your book back, and you will recieve Daphne's Book! Zeldalia will give you some crap about how she was just making sure you were heading on the right path, and how Daphne asked her to test Klein. More importantly, Norn will join your party, and then Zeldalia will instruct you to go to Iris's Resting Place. However, before leaving, use the ladder to the left to climb up to the 2nd floor of Zeldalia's house. Talk to the black cat there, and you will open up a shop! Buy things from the cat it you wish, then walk outside so that you are ontop of Zeldalia's house!! Ontop of the house, you can extract 36 Light elements from a goldish sphere/orb, and there is an Ancient Mask weapon to the right. After getting these two items, go back inside Zeldalia's, climb down the ladder, and leave Zeldalia's the normal way. Outside Zeldalia's, go into the tent to heal and save. Leave the tent, then walk back into the main part of Poto's Forest. From there, walk back into Iris's Resting Place, which is located towards the middle of the forest. Back in Iris's Resting Place, you will need to manage your way back to the pedestals, which were located toward the beginning part of the resting place. The next paragraph explains how to get to the pedastals, so if you already know where the pedastals are, then skip that paragraph. To get to the pedastals in Iris's Resting Place, walk to the southeast to the room with the giant blue spheres. From there, you will see a ledge to the

northwest, which is sitting next to a set of spikes, use this ledge to jump onto the platform above. Now go to the northeast up a small set of steps, and then you'll come to an intersection of two more sets of steps. You want to take the south set of steps, the set that leads down. After taking this set of steps, navigate south until you see a lightning generator hub. When you see this, I recommend extracting it for extra Lightning Elements, then continue to the east. Jump ontop of the set of arrows to quickly be pushed to the southeast, then there will be a set of purple crystals that will be too high for you to jump over. To get past them, perform a Destruction Blast on them, and then walk right past. Now walk to the south and stop when you see two more lightning generator hubs. When you see these hubs, walk to the northwest, and you'll approach the pedestals. When you approach them, you'll get a cutscene. When you approach the pedestals, you'll get a cutscene. You'll place all 3 of your Mana onto the 3 pedestals. Suddenly, the lightning energy field that was blocking the exit door of Iris's Resting Place will disappear!! If you didn't know where that door was located, it was ontop of a large staircase to the northwest of Iris's Resting Place. We will need to get to this door, so it's time to navigate to it. To get to the door, navigate back to the room with the giant blue rotating spheres. Use the platform next to the spikes to jump to the platform above, then walk to the northwest, and you'll find a large narrow staircase to the left of the wall. Walk up this staircase, perform Element Extraction on the broken pieces there, and walk up to the door. You will get a cutscene. Klein and Lita will examine

the door to try to find a way to get it opened, and suddenly they will vanish to a new room! In the new room, you will read the diary of Iris Blanchimont, which will reveal very interesting news about Lita. You will discover that Iris Blanchimont actually artifically created Lita, so Lita was artifically created! You also find out that Lita will not live for too much longer without the Ruby Prism. Then you leave the room, and it will be revealed to Delsus and Norn that Lita has wings. You decide that the best thing to do in your situation is to go back to Zeldalia's to ask her, because she probably knows what's going on. You know the way back to Zeldalia's, you were just there! Navigate through Poto's woods to Zeldalia's house. Back in Zeldalia's house, she will give Lita a bath, which is supposed to recharge her body to make up for what the Ruby Prism usually does. You get to see a small portion of Lita's breasts, but don't get too excited, boys, she's animated. After that, Zeldalia will give you Mana Bath and Mana Protection abilities to help keep Lita alive. You'll also get the option to take a tutorial on both of them, I highly recommend that you take the tutorials. After the tutorials, you'll decide that you need to find Mull to get back the Ruby Prism. Arlin will come into the picture and battle you (remember, Arlin hates Mull). Arlin will kick your ass no matter what, so just let him win. After losing the battle, Arlin will tell you that if you can't beat him, then you're no match against Mull. You will then have flashbacks about Lita, which demonstrates how much she means to you. Arlin will then join your party. You decide to go to Avenberry, but you'll need to know how to get past Henmil's gate to get to Avenberry, so let

us go to Karoc, and we'll ask people there if they know. When you gain control of your character, leave Zeldalia's house, and use the save tent outside there to heal and save your game. Now walk back into the main area of Poto's forest, and go back into Iris's Resting Place. However, as soon as you try to enter Iris's Resting Place, you'll be magically transported into Paka's house. Paka will teach you, for 3 long days, how to level up your weapons. You can now use Weapon Synthesis. Take the Weapon Synthesis tutorial. After this tutorial is done, talk to Pattet the fiary to open up a new shop. Then, walk around Paka's house to find 6 Mana Stones, a Speedster weapon, and other random weapons. Finally, leave Paka's house, and warp back to Kavoc. Back in Kavoc, walk into your base. Most of your party will leave temporarily for errands and naps, except you and Lita. You'll talk to Lita, and by the way Lita is talking to you, it seems as if she has a little crush on you, but let's not jump to conclusions.... Soon, all of your party will come back except for Delsus, so let's go look for him. Walk into the Wild Moss Bar, and you'll walk in just in time to watch Delsus use extremely cheesy pick up lines on a Young Lady, and get shot down horribly. After much talking, you'll be able to travel to the Puni God. The game will ask you if you want directions to the Puni God. Even though I am going to explain how to get to the Puni God, you should still say yes to the directions. Then, Delsus will offically rejoin the party. Now remember, we must get to the Puni God so we can get the Super Puni Ball. Leave the Wild Moss Bar, and then leave Kavoc.

Navigate through the Lapis Woods, then continue down the path past the Tower of Airfen. Slightly after the Tower of Airfen, you'll see a path that leads west, take this path, and you will soon find the Puni God. When you get to the Puni God, press X to enter that area. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.6) T H E P U N I G O D (~03F06) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ The Puni God will talk to you, and with his deep stretching voice, he will inform you that you can trust him not to eat you, always good news. Grab the pouch to the left of the Puni God for an extra 300 Cole, and then save the game if you want, and head inside the Puni God (just walk into him). Now you will be inside his stomach!! The Puni God's stomach can be described as...well blue would be a good adjective for it. Inside the Puni God's stomach, Lita will be grossed out, and Norn will say it feels squishy soft. Arlin will state that he is uncomfortable, and then say that it's time to get what you came for. Start out by walking down the path to the east. Your first battle will be a battle against the Puni brothers, which are a set of 3 very arrogant, very conceited puni, named Puni Taro, Puni Jiro, and Puni Kichi. They are really just ordinary Puni, but the fact that they think they're superior makes them funny. After defeating the 3 Puni brothers, you will recieve Frozen Rain, which is an item that you'll have to give Norman later in the game. After fighting the 3 Puni brothers, continue walking

along the path. Soon you will see a chest, grab it and it contains Dragon Fangs, then get the Aqua Snowbug located underneath the chest. Now continue along the path, and soon you will come to a dark block that you can jump over to collect a Dark Mana stone. Now continue along the path, be sure to get the Mana treasure chest to the northeast, which holds Love Gem. Continue along the path, and soon you will see another dark block connecting to a platform with a chest on it. Jump on this dark block, and then next to the chest. Grab the chest to get Fairy Claw, which is a useful weapon. Now hop back to the path, and continue along it. There is a large bag that you can get that has an extra 1640 Cole in it. Soon, you will come across a Super Puni, which is somewhat of a boss. Despite the fact that he's a Puni, he's slightly larger than ordinary Puni, and pretty difficult. He has a grand total of 880 HP, but he is not by himself. He is also paired with two Gold Puni, and four Red Puni. Try to eliminate the Gold and Red Puni first, then the Super Puni will be by himself. When he is by himself, he's not too tough. After defeating the Super Puni, you will have recieved the Super Puni Ball. After this, retrace your steps back to the beginning of the Puni God's stomach, then leave the Puni God. I recommend using the journal to save your game immediately after you leave the Puni God. Now leave the Puni God's area, and head back for Kavoc. If you don't remember how to get to Kavoc, walk east until you can't walk east anymore, then start south. Walk south past the Tower of Airfen, and the path will slowly turn to the east, and then to the north, creating a semicircle. Go through the Lapis Woods, and then into Kavoc.

Walk into the Wild Moss Bar, and then find Pilke, who is located at the top right side of the bar. Talk to him, and you'll give him the Super Puni Ball, and then he'll give you a Gust Sphere. After leaving Pilke and the Wild Moss Bar, you will need to head to the Weapon Shop. If you don't remember where the Weapon Shop is, you'll need to hop up ontop of the buildings, the same way you do to get to your base, but the Weapon Shop is in the 2nd part of town. After you enter the 2nd part of town, you'll get a cutscene of Rurona standing on the Mana of Stone. After that cutscene is done, walk into the Weapon's Shop, and talk to Hagel the shopowner. Hagel will ask you to run to Arcose to pick up a mineral for him, which is your next mission in the game. After long amounts of talking and mini-movies, you will now be able to travel to Arcose! Then, the game will ask you if you want directions to Arcose, and even though I'm going to explain how to get there, you should still say yes. To Arcose we go! Before heading to Arcose, it's a good idea to head back to base first. Go back to base, heal your party, replentish Lita's Mana power, and save. Now it's time to start our journey to Arcose! To get to Arcose, first we'll have to go into Lake Forwel and use the boat to cross the river. To get into Lake Forwel, leave Kavoc and head east. When the path divides into two different paths, head south. Continue past the Outdoor Theatre, and past a field, and you will soon come to an establishment, which is Lake Forwel. Enter Lake Forwel, then go to the dock at the south part of Lake Forwel. Talk to the strong muscleman there, and board the ship, this will take you across the river. On the other side of the river, exit the

Crossroads, and take the east path. Follow this path into the Proselyte Encampment, but then quickly leave the Proselyte Encampment on the other side, then continue along the path to Iris's Resting Place. Inside Iris's Resting Place, you'll need to navigate through it to the other side, and then into Poto's Forest. Once in Poto's Forest, walk to the east, and use the fallen log to cross the river. On the other side of the river, walk to the north, and there will be a new area that wasn't there before that will allow you to leave the forest. Leave the forest. After leaving, continue down the path past a mine, and you will eventually see a new town, which is Arcose! Enter Arcose! Once inside Arcose, you'll get a cutscene of your party talking to Lector, as Lector will attempt to rub Norn's fuzzy ears. When you gain control of your character, go into the tent to heal and save. Leave the tent, then walk to the top of the town, and walk into the leftmost building. Inside this building, you will meet Villa. Villa will ask you to find her missing sister, then will let you access Alexia cave. After this, you should say yes to the directions to Alexia Cave. Now leave Villa's shop, and leave Arcose. Your next destination will be Alexia Cave. After leaving Arcose, take the path to the east to get to Alexia Cave. Continue down this path, and soon you will approach a volcano looking area called Valiant Path. You must get past Vialiant Path if you want to get to Alexia Cave, so enter the volcano. As soon as we enter, Delsus will inform us that we don't need to really bother with the hazardous steps of the lava, and to get across the Valiant Path, you just need to take a few steps to the left.

However, there are 4 Growloons, an Ancient Mask weapon, and a Mark of Courage mana item that you'd miss out on if you just ignored them. So jump over the lava pits to get the items located in here. Remember, you'll need to watch your step, because if you step in the lava, it will take away some health each time. You can jump across many parts of the lava pits, but not all of them. To see where a place is that you can jump across, check the lava: if there are brownish smutherings underneath, that signifies a path that you can jump. Extract 3 of the Growloons, then jump to the piece of rock in the middle with the chest on it. Open the chest for an Ancient Mask. Make a few more jumps to get to the Mana chest, and open the Mana chest for a Mark of Courage! You can now use Mark of Courage for synthesis! Now jump back to the beginning part of the Valiant Path, and walk a few steps to the left to exit Valiant Path. After exiting Valiant Path, continue along the path until you eventually come to Alexia Cave. When you get into Alexia Cave, you will get a cutscene of Villa's sister trapped behind a Growloon. Walk to the right, and use Element Extract on the Growloon floating ontop of the rock. Then, walk north and go underneath the bridge, then up the staircase. Once ontop of the staircase, use Element Extract on the rocks there to get by them. Continue north, and when you see the chest, open it for a Poison Blade, which is a nice weapon to have. Use Element Extract on the Growloon there to get rid of it, then walk across a narrow ledge to the east, and you will see an odd looking statue! Press X at the statue, and you will wake up Diemia, the Mana of stone!! Diemia will then agree to help you out, you now have another Mana on your

side!!

Now take the Stepping Stone tutorial.

After the Stepping Stone tutorial, walk back across the narrow ledge to the west, then use the wooden boxes to jump to the ledge above. If you didn't already get rid of the Growloon there, then get rid of him now, then continue to the right. Use Element Extract on all the rocks there to get by the rocks (get the Rock Sugar as you pass it), then continue to the right into the 2nd part of Alexia Cave. Here, walk to the right, then jump over the small lava puddle. Continue south down a few ledges, and then you will get a cutscene of you discovering a door. There is a save tent ontop of a rock, I recommend going into it to heal and save. To the right, continue down the stairs, and jump over the lava pit when you come to it, then grab the treasure chest, which will have Red Mana in it. Continue to the left, and then into the next area of Alexia Cave. From here, grab the Gold Legion, and then grab the large bag for an additional 340 Cole. Now it's time to use our personal stepping stone Diemia for the first time. Use R1 and L1 to navigate to Diemia on the Action Dial, then press square to use Diemia. Jump on Diemia, and then jump onto the ledge above. From there, use Element Extraction on the crystals and the Growloon. Now continue walking to the left, and you'll get a cutscene of you talking to Hute, who is Vienna's sister. Hute will be so glad that you saved her, that she will give Klein a big hug. Now you'll need to get back to the very beginning of Alexia Cave. Rather than walking all the way around, you can easily get back to the beginning by dropping down onto the rock slightly to the right. After doing this, you'll get another cutscene of Vienna and Hute fighting, then

you will recieve an Ore, which is Hagel's order, and you will also recieve 2 Cornet Stones. Leave Alexia Cave, and then make a trip back through the Valiant Path, and into Arcose. In Arcose, you should go into the tent to heal and save, then go into the very first house in the town. You will get a cutscene of the old woman who lives there admiring Norn, and offers her candy. Then, the old lady will approach Norn, and try to touch her ears. Suddenly, we will discover that the Old Lady is actually Lector dressed up in an effort to touch Norn's ears. Now, exit that house, and start walking to the top of Alcose. You will soon get another cutscene, this time you'll discover a portal to the fairy world. Now go into this portal, collect all the items in that room, and then use the portal on the top floor to quickly transport back to Kavoc. Back in Kavoc, immediately go into your base to heal Lita's mana, heal your party, and save. Now that you have the Mana of Stone Diemia, you can now get to a chest located ontop of rooftops to the southwest of town. You can also unlock a new mana item called Obake Bag. There are also several other items that you can now get thanks to Diemia's stepping stone ability, so when you see them around, be sure to get them. Anyway, in Kavoc, jump up to (the same way to get to your base), and then go into Hagel. Talk to Hagel at the counter, and you will will thank you by singing you a song, and he will also the top of the rooftops the Weapons Shop to visit give him the Ore. Hagel

give you a Star Piece.

Leave the Weapons Shop, and head back for your Base. Inside your base, your

party will be talking/brainstorming, and you'll get to see a movie of Mull about to prepare a ritual for the Ruby Prism. Once it is done, heal your party, then save. Leave your base, then head into the 2nd part of Kavoc, the part where the entrance to the sewers and Cathedral are. You will get a cutscene of Beggur and a Lady Knight argueing. The Lady Knight is Marietta, remember when you met up with her in the woods? Anyway, Marietta and Beggur are argueing, and Beggur kicks Marietta out of the Alkavana. Now walk back into your base, and Delsus will cook a dish for a very hungry Norn. Norn, impatient, will smell something, and then wander off. Unfortunately, as Norn wanders off, and gets kidnapped by Beggur. The rest of the party, unaware of the situation, recieves a letter from a boy, that states, that if you ever want to see Norn again, we'll have to head to the sewers. Well, it looks like we're off to the sewers to rescue her! Quickly rush to the sewers. In the sewers, walk south to the part where the electrified floor is, and then walk to the southeast. You will soon get a cutscene of Beggur and a few Alkavana Knights, and Norn is surrounded by the Alkavana Knights. Beggur will be pleased by his brilliance, and then Arlin will use one of his Military stealth tricks to get Norn back. Beggur and his army will be so confused at how Norn magically disappeared from their grasps, and will retreat to the east. Quickly follow Beggur and his army! We are going to pursue them. Rush to the southeast, and then jump over a dark crystal, and continue down that path. When you get to a log, press X on it, and it will transport you to the northeast, then continue to the northeast, and you

will find a secret passage that leads into Beggur's Cathedral. However, as soon as you enter Beggur's Cathedral, Beggur and his army will ambush you! Well, it looks like it's time for a nice battle. The battle against Beggur will be a tough one. For one, you are not just fighting Beggur alone, Beggur is accompanied by three of his Knights, and a pig named Tonta. The three Knights are named Neun, Drei, and Vier. If you try to attack Neun, Tonta the pig can defend her. The best way, in my opinion, to achieve victory in this battle is to take out Tonta the pig first. After taking out Tonta, focus all of your characters on defeating Neun. Neun has the ability to heal her party, which is why you want to take her out. After defeating Neun, take out Drei and Vier. After taking everybody out, Beggur will be by himself. Beggur isn't hard at all by himself; 3 versus 1 makes Beggur pretty easy to defeat. After defeating Beggur, you will get another cutscene. Beggur will be in awe, because he really thought he was going to be victorious. Then, Beggur will flee, promising to get revenge as he leaves. Then, Arlin will fall to the floor because he is dizzy from using teleportation to rescue Norn, then you'll arrive back at your base. In the base, after much talking, you will decide that you want to go into Fort Galga, but there are too many soldiers in Fort Galga, and you'll never be able to get past. Pilke (remember how he owes you a favor?) will walk in the base and tell you that he knows a way to get through Fort Galga. When you gain control of your character, heal your party, then save. Leave Kavoc, but before heading to Fort Galga, you should go to the

Collector's Caravan. If you don't remember how to get to the Collector's Caravan, head to Lake Forwel and cross the river, then head north after crossing the river. Inside the Collector's Caravan, Lector will give you an Item List, then Lector will finally get to rub Norn's ears. After the cutscene, you'll notice a huge statue to the right side of the room. This statue is Nymph, the Mana of water. Talk to Nymph, and she will agree to help you. You now have the Mana spirit Nymph! Also, be sure to take the Barrier tutorial. After getting Nymph, leave the Collector's Caravan, and head back for the Crossroads so you can cross the river back into Lake Forwel. Now you must leave Lake Forwel, and head into Fort Galga. If you don't know where Fort Galga is located, just start heading north at Lake Forwel, and you will eventually come to castle, this is Fort Galga! When you get to the fort, enter it by pressing X. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.7) F O R T G A L A G A (~03F07) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ When you enter Fort Galga, you will get a cutscene of Pilke, who is standing next to two chickens. After much talking, you will agree to use Pilke as a diversion, while you ambush the thieves that are operation the cannons. When the cutscene is over, you will be standing next to a ladder, but don't go up it just yet. Instead, walk inside the tent to heal and save, then leave the tent, and THEN climb the ladder. This will start a battle sequence against two thieves.

The battle against the thieves is easy, just kill them they way you'd normally kill an enemy. After you've defeated them, walk up the steps to the northwest, and then walk over the conveyorbelt. After walking past the conveyorbelt, you will be brought into another battle sequence, this time against 3 thieves, and a Rogue. Defeat them, then walk up the next staircase. From there, jump over the black crystal/conveyorbelt/wooden box structure, and you'll become engaged in another battle. This is a simple battle, so take out the 2 thieves and Rogue, then open up the nice shiny Mana chest that is sitting there, and you'll get Aeroangel. Aeroangel is now available for synthesis, congratulations. Now, retrace your steps back down the the very bottom of Fort Galga, you will have to jump over a wooden box, go down 2 staircases, and climb down a ladder. When you get back down to the bottom, I recommend going into the tent to heal and save. Now walk to the right and climb up the ladder, which is located symetrically to the one you just came from. At the top of this ladder, you will be engaged in a simple battle against 2 thieves. When this battle is finished, walk to the right some more, and climb up the stairs there, then continue past the conveyorbelt, and you'll become engaged in a battle against 2 Gunners, 2 Archers, and a Heavy Metal. After defeating these enemies, walk up the next staircase, and engage in the next battle, which is against a Thief, a Rogue, and a Mercenary. After defeating these guys, that will be the very last of the cannons. You will get a cutscene of all of Pilke's friend finally showing up to help him, and then they'll all smash down the main doorway, revealing another ladder, which will allow you to access new parts of Fort Galga. Now you will need to go all the way back down to the

ground of Fort Galga, but before doing that, open up the two chests there to get the book Me,Myself&Bomb, and the weapon Hulking Smasher. Now go down to the very bottom of Fort Galga. I highly recommend going into the tent to heal and save, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Now when you are ready, climb up the middle ladder where Pilke's friends just got rid of the gate. When at the top of this ladder, you will be presented with 3 more ladders, one to the left, one in the center, and one to the right. To the top of the center ladder, there are 3 more ladders, but the center one is blocked by a wooden gate. So it looks something like this: Mr. Brigand boss fight |--| |--| |--| |--| Battle |--| Battle |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--|_____|--|_____|--| |--| Wooden |--| |--| Barrier |--| \_ _/ \_ _/ \_ _/ \_ _/ \ / |--| Battle |--| Battle |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--|_____|--|_____|--| |--| |--| |--| |--|

|--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| |--| Bottom of Fort Galga So, look at the pretty text picture I drew above, and you will see that there are 4 total battles, and there is also a ladder with a Wooden Barrier, which you must find a way past the wooden barrier. To get past the wooden barrier, all you have to do is fight all 4 battles. Remember, if you start to get low on health, you can always climb back down the the ground and go into the tent to heal your party. Fight all 4 battles. After finishing the 4th battle, you will walk up to the Wooden Barrier, and Klein will use some sort of mana power to get rid of it. Now you can climb up the ladder that the wooden barrier was blocking. At the top of the final ladder, you will surround Mr. Brigand, and then you will start to battle him. Accompanying Mr. Brigand will be 2 Gunners, and 4 Wolves. The best way to deal with this battle and come out victorious is to take out the 4 wolves first. The wolves have low HP, which makes them easy to get rid of. Then, focus on the 2 Gunners. After defeating the wolves and the gunners, Mr. Brigand will be all by himself, and when your outnumbering him 3:1, it makes it a pretty easy fight for you. When Mr. Brigand is by himself, he'll spend most of his turns simply healing,

and he also sometimes calls for help, which will result in a Falcon Hawk coming to his aid. If a Falcon Hawk helps him out, focus on getting rid of the Falcon Hawk first, and then Mr. Brigand second. After defeating Mr. Brigand, climb down to the bottom of the ladders so that you are walking on the green grass of Fort Galga. Walk to the left and go into the tent to heal and save, then leave the tent. Our next destination will be for the Cleft of Nelvia. Walk to the right side of Fort Galga, and leave Fort Galga. Since you left via the right side, you will now be on the other side of Fort Galga, which is soil we haven't been on yet! To get to the Cleft of Nelvia, walk a little bit east, and then the path will split into two: a eastern path, and a southern path. Take the eastern path. Follow this path until the path splits again, this time go west. Continue down that path until you come to a cliff. Inside the cliff, you will probably first notice that there are two Growloons here. To get to the Growloons, we will need to get on top of that cliff, but it is too high to jump. Get out Diemia the Mana of stone, and use him as a stepping ladder to get ontop of the cliff, then use Element Extraction on the two Growloons. Proceed to the northwest, and leave the cliff area. Continue to follow the path north, and it will eventually rise. The path will rise very high, and there will be a cliff to the left. When you get to this point, walk to the edge to the very left, and press X, and you will enter the Cleft of Nelvia. Inside the Cleft of Nelvia, you will get a cutscene, Norn will be scared of heights, so she'll hold Klein's hand.

When you gain control of your party, start walking down the narrow ledges to the east. You will soon come across a Growloon who is kind of high in the air. You can't use Diemia as a stepping stone, because you are on a bridge, but you can still capture the Growloon by jumping as high as you can and using Element Extract on him. Continue down the narrow ledge, and then you'll see some platforms that lead down, use these platforms to descend down lower into the Cleft. You'll see a bunch of purple crystals piled ontop of each other with a big bag ontop of them, use Destruction Blast to get rid of the purple crystals and get the big bag, which has a Red Mana stone inside it. Continue walking to down the path, soon you'll come to a ramp that leads lower in altitude. There is a small, poorly built building to the east, but do not go into it yet. Instead, to the west, look for a Growloon and get rid of it. Continue down a set of 4 steps, then down another ramp. There is another Mana statue sitting around here, you'll need to jump across two small gaps to get to it. If you fall, don't worry, just walk back to the left and try again. When you approach the Mana statue, press X, and Silwest the Wind Mana will emerge, and agree to help you, yay! After getting the Wind Mana Silwest, walk back up 3 ramps, and then head into the small building to the east. In this building, you can talk to Moose if you want, but he doesn't really say anything important. Grab all the loose items in that building that you can, then leave the building to the exit in the northeast. Continue along this path, and you will see a ladder. Climb down the ladder, and you will see another building. You don't have to enter this building, but there is a tent that will allow you to heal your party and

save your game, which you should take advantage of. Now if you entered this building, leave it so that you're back outside. Back outside, walk across the bridge to the west, then climb down the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder, you can go east or west. You can go either way to get to your destination, but you should go east, because there is a really rewarding treasure chest that way we can get. Head to the east, and soon you'll come to a treasure chest. Open the chest, and you'll discover a Lightning Orb, which is a very useful weapon. After getting the weapon, fall down the three ledges to the very bottom. You will now be at the very bottom of the Cleft of Nelvia. This area is pretty flat, but there are some rocks that get in your way. Grab all the loose items in this area, then leave the area via the exit at the very southeast part. After leaving the main portion of the Cleft of Nelvia, you will discover a spring! Delsus will tell the party how legend has it that if you toss something valuable in, you will recieve a wish, so Norn humorously takes Delsus's wallet and tosses it in. Completely suprisingly, as Norn does this, the Spirit of Spring will rise from the spring, and give you a choice of either a Jewel, or a Stone. It doesn't matter which one you pick, but then you will recieve the Mirror of Twilight afterwards! The Mirror of Twilight is required to open Henmil's Gate, so it's a pretty important item. After this cutscene is over, walk to the southmost point, and you'll notice a small narrow ledge that leads farther south. Take this ledge, and then the path will lead both west and east. There is a nice weapon we can get to the west, along with some Life elements. Walk to the

west, and use Element Extraction on the red bushes there, and you'll acquire some Life elements, which are most likely the very first Life elements you're getting. Continue to the west, and you'll find a big bag, which holds a Buffer Ring. Now walk back to the east. You can leave Cleft of Nelvia if you continue to the east, but that's not where we need to go now. Instead, you will have to head back home, which means you have to climb ALL THE WAY back up to the very top of the Cleft of Nelvia. I know this task is tedious, but do it anyway. When you finally get back to the very top of Cleft of Nelvia, you will get a cutscene of Beggur checking out the ruins that you created at Fort Galgia, and he is not happy! He sends his guards, and they locate a thief who witnissed you kicking ass at Fort Galgia, then he tells Beggur what he saw. He'll be mad when he finds out that your party was the one that created all the damage, but then Beggur claims the fort in the name of the Alkavana. When you finally gain control of your character, walk to the east path, and you will eventually find a small cabin called "Empty Tavern". Walk into the Empty Tavern, and grab the two bags at the north of the building, Sylph's Kiss is in the first bag, and an extra 370 Cole is in the 2nd bag. In addition, there are two more Growloons in this tavern that you can add to your collection. The Growloon to the right is easy to get, but you'll have to use Diemia as a stepping stool to get high enough to get the left Growloon. There is also a book here that you can use to save your game if you want, and there is a portal to the fairy world!! Inside the fairy world, grab all the loose items that you can, then leave the fairy world, and transport to Kavoc.

Back in Kavoc, you might get a cutscene of people talking about a ship that was attacked, but you might not. Either way, head into your base. Inside your base, you will get another cutscene of Norn asking Klein nicely if he'll sleep with him, because she gets scared at nights. Klein makes a very funny line about how the ESRB will go nuts, but then you agree to hold her hand until she falls asleep. After Norn falls asleep, Zeldalia will talk to you through Norn's body! Zeldalia will tell you that Norn is a mountain cat that Zeldalia personified when she was young....Norn doesn't know anything about it. After the cutscene is over, heal your party, replentish Lita's mana, and then save your game. When you leave your base, you will get a cutscene of a boy informing two older people that is has been reported that many Growloons have been found in Poto's forest. Norn becomes very worried about Zeldalia, and you decide that you should go see if she's all right. It looks like our next destination is Poto's Forest! Leave Kavoc, and make way for Poto's Forest. By now, you should definitely know how to get to Poto's Forest, but in case you don't, go into Lake Forwel and talk to the man to cross the river, then leave the Crossroads, and take the path east. Continue through Proselyte Encampment, and then continue all the way through Iris's Resting Place, and that's how you get to Poto's Forest. Inside Poto's Forest, you'll get a cutscene just showing you how many Growloons are in Poto's Forest, and you'll be surprised by how many there are. There are two Growloons in the main area, use Element Extract on both of them,

then use the fallen log to the northwest to cross the river. There are two more Growloons at the very north of that area flying high above several pieces of wood. If you want to eliminate these Growloons, you'll have to set Diemia on the ground and use him as a stepping stone to get that high. There is also another Growloon to the east of this area, collect him too if you want. When you are ready, make your way into Zeldalia's house. Inside Zeldalia's we will get a cutscene. Zeldalia will be laying on the floor in pain, but not because of the Growloons. It's her bad back, which is aggrivating her. We promised Zeldalia that we'd get rid of the Growloons. We will also discover that Arlin is only in our party because he has been asked to by Zeldalia, or something like that. Then, the cutscene will end, and you'll be outside of Zeldalia's house. Let's get rid of the Growloons. There are 6 Growloons total in Poto's Forest. You probably already got rid of some of them on your way to Zeldalia's. In total, there were 3 Growloons in the main portion of Poto's Forest: one to the extreme east, and two towards the west. To the west of Poto's Forest, cross the river via the fallen log, and there are 3 more Growloons in this area: two to the extreme north, and one towards the east. The total is six, and after you've defeated all 6, leave Poto's Forest via the exit to the west, and then reenter Poto's Forest. Upon reentering, you'll will see the thieves that have stolen the cargo from the ship. You will get a small cutscene, and then you'll engage in battle against them. You'll have to fight a Rogue, a Thief, and a Master Thief. After defeating them, we will discover a book that is addressed to Grandpa

Zazzy, who is the old man that lives in Lake Forwel. You will recieve a Picture Diary, which we are going to return to the old man. However, before we return to Lake Forwel, we still have to sort out this problem with the Wind Mana. To do this, walk into Zeldalia's "yard", and head south, and continue to the next screen below. In the new screen, you will get a cutscene of you discovering the Wind Mana. If you recall correctly, this is the same area where you fought Norn earlier in the game. Then, you will engage in a battle against the Wind Mana. In the battle, you will have to defeat a Jin Rider, who is the boss. The Jin Rider is all by himself, making this a 3 versus 1 battle, giving you a big advantage. Remember, the Jin Rider is a wind mana, so therefore, you can only attack him with magic attacks. The best strategy is to keep Lita, Arlin, and Klein out. Use Arlin's Mana Strike, which usually does approximately 75 damage to him, and also use Lita's Force Blast, which usually does a whopping 200 damage to him. Keep Klein out to heal everybody as their HP gets low. The Jin Rider only has roughly 900 HP total (estimate), so it should only take about 4 rounds to defeat him if you are using the strategy I mentioned above. The Jin Rider is not very hard, and shouldn't give you too much trouble. After defeating the Jin Rider, you will find the Mirror of Dawn!! This is the second mirror, which has a similar aura to the last one you found. When you gain control of your character, walk over and get the mana chest, which holds Newlife. You can now use Newlife for synthesis, congratulations. Our next destination will be Kavoc, but before going

there, you should go into the tent outside Zeldalia's to heal and save. Now, to get back to Kavoc very quickly, walk into Zeldalia's house, then climb the ladder to the 2nd floor. Use the portal there to enter the fairy world, then in the fairy world, use the portal there to quickly transport back to Kavoc. Back in Kavoc, enter the Wild Moss Bar, and talk to Norman, and he will give you 1200 Cole for getting rid of the Growloons in Poto's Forest. Also, you should probably check the Growloon record book, you most likely grew another rank, which means more Cole for you. Since we just got the 2nd mirror, our next destination will be to Henmil's Gate. If you don't remember where Henmil's Gate is located, it's just to the north of the Tower of Airfen. Leave Kavoc, and enter the Lapis Woods. You will get a cutscene of you talking to Rurona about the Flawless Marvel, then continue south through the Lapis Woods to the other side. Once you're out of the Lapis Woods, continue to follow that path to the south, and it will start to bend to the west, and then the path will start to the north, just keep following the path. Continue past the Tower of Airfen, then the path will split in two, and you should take the north path. When you finally approach Henmil's Gate, press X to enter it. In Henmil's Gate, you will get a cutscene of you trying to open the gate, but then a Mysterious Woman will magically appear and tell you that you'll have to carry out her legacy. The Mysterious Woman will also tell you that the final requirement needed in order to open the gate is to gain the Heart of Mana. After a little more talking, the cutscene will end.

Since you haven't any luck at Henmil's Gate, you might as well head back to Kavoc. You can either use the portal to the fairy world to quickly warp back to Kavoc, or you can take the long way and walk. When you finally get back into Kavoc, you will get a cutscene of a girl (Marietta) running from five Alkavana Knights. Delsus will approach the Knights, telling them that it's pretty low to gang up on a girl like that, and suddenly you'll engage in battle! You'll have to fight a total of SIX Alkavana Temple Knights. The Knights by themselves are actually pretty easy to defeat, but the fact that there are six of them makes it a little difficult; after all, they outnumber you 2 to 1. Each Temple Knight has 160 HP, so it should take 2-3 hits to defeat each one of them, which means that it should take you roughly 4-6 rounds to defeat them all. This shouldn't be a very tough fight for you. After you defeat all six of the Temple Knights, the knights will retreat, and you will have saved Marietta. Marietta will walk off screen, then Mull will appear to the right, and tell Klein that he has been watching him, and is impressed. After the cutscene is over, head into your base, and your party will discuss what the Mysterious Woman said at Henmil's Gate. You will then decide that your next destination will be to a door in Alexia Cave, but that door is locked so you'll need a key. The key is located in Arcose. Our next destination is Arcose to get the key!! The quickest way to get into Arcose is probably to go to Henmil's gate, and use the portal to the fairy world to quickly transport to Arcose. However, if you'd like to get to Arcose the long way, that's fine, too. However you manage, just get to Arcose. Inside Arcose, you'll get

a cutscene of you talking to Pamela the ghost (what's she doing in Arcose?). Once you can move your party, go into the tent to heal and save. Leave the tent, then walk up the stairs in Arcose, and go into Villa's Shop, and talk to Villa behind the counter. Villa will tell you that you'd be better off asking her sister Hute about the Alexia Cave, since Villa doesn't like caves, and Hute does. This makes our next destination to visit Hute. Hute owns a shop in the Mine. The Mine is located to the northwest of Arcose. Leave arcose, and take the northwest path, and you will eventually find the Mine. Go into the Mine, and enter the first shop, and then talk to Hute, behind the counter. Hute will tell you a story about how long ago townspeople would sacrifice young girls to a dragon, then she will give you a key to the door inside Alexia Cave. Now that we have the key to the door inside Alexia Cave, our next destination will be Alexia Cave so that we can make use of the key we just got and go inside the door. To get to Alexia Cave, walk back down to where Arcose is, then continue to the path to the east. Continue following this path until you come to the Valiant Path. Remember, inside the Valiant Path, simply walk a few simple steps to the left to get to the other side. Now continue to follow this path north, and you will soon find Alexia Cave. Go into Alexia Cave now. Inside Alexia Cave, head north. You will have to jump ontop of platforms, which will increase your altitude. You will also have to use Element Extract on two sets of rocks to get by them. When you get to the very top point of this area, walk to the east, and walk off the screen into the 2nd part of Alexia Cave.

In this area, start walking to the south a little bit. Here's a little hint: you are about to engage in a boss fight. There is a tent in this area located to the south a little bit, so I highly recommend you to go into there to heal and save. After that, leave the save tent, and look to the left, you will discover a descending staircase that leads south. Walk down this staircase, at the very bottom, you will find the door that the key Hute gave us opens up. When you approach this door, you'll get a cutscene, and the door will fly open. Before entering the door, know that a boss fight awaits you when you enter, and it's not an easy boss either like the rest of the tools you've beaten. If you didn't already do so, I HIGHLY recommend to go into the tent above to heal and save your game. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 3.8) B L U E D R A G O N B O S S I G H T (~03F08) +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+

When you enter the door, you will get a cutscene of Norn and Lita complaining about how it's so cold inside, then you'll discover a dragon that is frozen in thick layers of ice. Suddenly, the ice will begin to melt, and the dragon will attack you, sending you into a battle sequence against the dragon! The Blue Dragon is very tough. He has roughly 32003500 HP (estimate), and ontop of that, all of his attacks take away A LOT of your health. He has one attack where he hits all 3 of you at the same time, such a deadly move. I recommend to set your formation like this: Arlin, Klein, Lita. Have Arlin use Mana Strike every turn, and have Lita use her powerful Force Blast every turn.

Keep Klein out on the battle field so that he can heal up the party with Heal Jar every turn. Also, another good strategy I read about is to purposely deplete Lita's Mana so that her wings are large, which will increase her attack. Oh, and another thing that I almost forgot...do not attack the dragon with Klein's Ice Bomb, it will heal him (this is an ice dragon, remember?). I read somewhere that if you head back to Norn's shop and do synthesis, you can get an item called Dragon Slayer, which takes away about 400 HP every time you use it, so you might want to try that as well if you are having trouble. Also, if you have any Blue Bracers, it would be wise to equip them onto your more important characters, which will help you with ice resistance. Do not get discouraged while fighting this boss. You will most likely lose several times, so don't get discouraged. If you really can't beat him after many tries, you can always try leveling up your party, and then coming back. Although leveling up doesn't make too much of a difference in this game as compared to other RPGs, it will still give you extra advantages. INCOMPLETE WALKTHROUGH NOTE: version of the walkthrough. to complete it. Since This is an incomplete I am working very hard the rest of this document is completed, and about half of the Walkthrough is completed, I am marking this version as 0.77. Please check back to www.GameFAQs.com frequently for a newer update. Thank you.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------================= ================== ==== ? 04) (~04SFQ) Synthesis FAQs ?

================= ================== ==== -----------------------------------------------------------------------------This nice little section deals with Synthesis of two very important aspects of the game: Item Synthesis and Mana Synthesis. Both of them, when used correctly, can help you greatly and give you extra advantages. Remember, this section is broken down into Item Synthesis FAQ, and Mana Synthesis FAQ. I hope you enjoy this section. +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 4.1) I T E M S Y N T H E S I S F A Q +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ Item Synthesis is the combining of items to create new items. You personally cannot handle the items to perform Item Synthesis. The only people that can do Item Synthesis are shop owners, such as Norman from the Wild Moss Bar. Due to the fact that shop owners are the only ones that can perform Item Synthesis, this is sometimes called Shop Synthesis, but they're the same thing.

So Item Synthesis is the process of giving a shop owner items, and having the shop owner mix those items together to create totally new items. The items you can give shop owners can be anything you find in your travels. You tend to find items laying around EVERYWHERE, and these are the items that you give to the shop owners. Sometimes you'll need to give the shop owners more than one of an item. For a full list of items you can give to shop owners, refer to the Item List section of this document. Remember, different shop owners can make different things. For example, Norman of the Wild Moss bar can make some food items, but Veola of the Magic Shop is better acquainted with Magic items. No two shop owners are alike, so you'll have to travel to a wide variety of shops to create different items. Below is the list of items I have discovered that are able to be made. The list starts with Norman's Wild Moss bar, and then comes Veola's Magic Shop, then Blaire's shop, etc. If you know of any Item Synthesis items that I'm missing, please email me ASAP and I'll put it in and credit you. A very big thank you goes out to Ironpits, for giving me some Item Synthesis information for Norman's Shop, as well as giving me almost all of the Item Synthesis information for Totopop's Shop, Mofuma's Shop, and Oscar's Shop. Mana Spirits are like living spirits. They can talk and communicate with you, but they are somewhat more godlike than ordinary creatures. Mana items are items in which the spirits have to create for you. It's that simple. If you want a Mana item, you must have a Mana spirit make it for you. Simple enough? However, different items have different requirements. For example, if you want to create an Elixir, you will need to use Holy elements, but to use Holy elements, you will have to have first found Paltia, which is the Holy Mana spirit. It goes like this: Step 1) You extract elements from things. Step 2) You get Mana spirits to make things from the elements, but you must have found the Mana spirits first. Step 3) The item will be made. I'm probably not explaining it well, so here's an example. If you want to make a Flame, it will require 4 Fire Elements. However, the only Mana spirit that can make you the flame is Uru, because he's the fire mana spirit. It makes sense that Nymph (The Water Mana) can't make you a flame. Does it make more sense now? Now you must understand what Mana items are. In the previous paragraph, I talked about how the fire spirit Uru can make you a Flame. This is true, but

the Flame is a Mana item, and before a Flame can be made, you must find a Mana chest with the flame item in it. Then and only then will you be able to have Uru make as many Flames as you want. Does this makes sense? Below is a huge list of Mana items. Remember, you'll have to find all of these items in the game before you can use them. I'm not going to explain where each of them are located in the game, but just play the game and you'll find them. The Mana items are listed in alphabetic order. Enjoy. 1. ================= ================== ==== -----------------------------------------------------------------------------This is the ending section of the FAQ. It basically wraps up everything said in the entire FAQ. It has been my pleasure to write such a brilliant FAQ for such a wonderful game. So I guess this is goodbye.

Once again, keep them swords sharp! +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ 6.1) C R E D I T S +=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=--=+=-+ Thanks to all of these wonderful people. 1. Ironpits ----------Much thanks go out to Ironpits, who I talked to for a while about the game, and he constructed a weapons list for me, which I added into the guide. There most likely wouldn't be a Weapons List section if it weren't for him. Ironpits also helped me by giving me loads of information in the Item Synthesis section of this FAQ. Much of the Item Synthesis section is credited to you. Thanks. 2. Rianxo2 ---------He uploaded the torrent file to a popular torrent site so I didn't have to pay money for this game. Thanks, fellow. 3. You -----Thanks to you. My work would be completely useless without readers such as yourself. Thank you.
