altered taste, constipation
GU:sexual dysfunction, urinary disorders
Derm: increased sweating
MS: back pain, myalgia
Neuro: tremor, twitching
Misc: fever, thirst
Interactions with other patient drugs, OTC or herbal Lab value alterations caused by medicine:
medicines (ask patient specifically): Monitor serum sodium if placed on a diuretic

Neurontin- may cause additive CNS depression effects. Be sure to teach the patient the following about this
medication:
Good oral hygiene and sugarless candy or gum for dry
mouth. May cause drowsiness of dizziness. Wear
sunscreen to prevent photosensitivity reaction. Avoid
Alcohol.
