Fire Emergency
What to do if you discover a Fire Emergency:

Alert people in the area by making noise/shout. Activate the fire alarm. If it is small, Smother the fire or use the fire extinguisher to extinguish it. If it is big or out of control, inform supervisor before calling 995.

Things to do during an Emergency which required evacuation 1) Upon hearing the alarm, all staff shall look important files, cash, shut down machinery, etc. 2) Remain calm and alert, follow instructions given by senior most presence in the vicinity. 3) All staff guided by the Emergency Response Controller should immediately evacuate by using the nearest exit and proceed to the designated Muster Point. 4) When evacuating, (i) Strictly follow the instruction given by respective Fire Warden. (ii) Do not panic but quickly walk to the nearest exit and proceed to the Muster Point. (iii) Do not go back to collect personal belongings. (iv) Do not visit toilet on the way out. (v) Do not re-enter the building once at the assembly point unless instructed otherwise by Incident Commander. (vi) Assist the disabled, children, pregnant women etc. to assembly point during evacuation. 5) Be Familiar with your Escape Route Sample: Refer to Picture no 1 6) Be Familiar with your workplace Emergency Safety Equipment Sample: Refer to Picture no 2 7) Be Familiar with your Muster Point/Assembly Point Sample: Refer to Picture no 3
