I read the very inspiring article titled Timothy Sangawa (April 2013) in Travel 3Sixty during my flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau recently. What captured my interest was how Sangawa transited effortlessly from the corporate world to the entertainment business. I found similarities between his life and mine as I was reading the article. I too was spotted by a modelling agency scout some time ago but decided not to attend the interview; instead, I continued with my office life. Although I too have experienced lots of adventures in my life, they come no where near what Sangawa has done and achieved. My point here: I was afraid to step out of my comfort zone and with that decision, missed my y chance to try out something new and even more exciting. My advice to others: When opportunity comes knocking, grab the bull by its horns and just do it. You only live once! ~ Yeoh Yeong Kai, Singapore
I bought plenty of cheap tickets for travels in 2014! Thank you, AirAsia!

Kudos to Travel 3Sixty for publishing the article Real vs Reel Pilots (April 2013). As a regular air traveller, it is only natural for me to feel anxious after watching the movie Flight. However, Captain Lim Khoy Hing eased my fears by clearly spelling out the distinction between fact and fiction when it comes to the strict safety operating standards practised in air travel. The fact that there are always two competent pilots (the captain and his copilot) in the flight reassures me that I am in safe hands at all times. Also, knowing that there are safety mechanisms in an aircraft that prevent it from making dangerous manoeuvers, further provides comfort to me. With this in mind, Id not hesitate to travel more by air! ~ Lee Joo Ee, via email The article, The New Seoul (April 2013) in Travel 3Sixty proved to be very insightful in inviting readers to look at Seoul and South Korea from a more personal angle. I was in Seoul in the summer of 2012 and visiting the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Gwacheon was definitely one of the highlights. Reading the article, I was transported back to that brief time I spent walking the streets of Seoul, and I remember thinking how the ancient and contemporary existed side-by-side not incongruously, but in fact, quite beautifully. As my trip was pretty short, now I long to go back and experience more of the new Seoul after reading the article. ~ Madelline Romero, Manila, Philippines AirAsiaMegastore is a one-stop solution shopping portal where guests can purchase exciting travel products, AirAsiacollectibles, inight Comfort Kit, travel accessories, cosmetics, fragrances and loads and loads of exciting goodies. In commemorating the birth of our 10th baby, we are pleased to announce its new name: Xakura Blossom. We believe that the name Xakura Blossom is synonymous with our dedication to the Japanese market. The name can also be easily remembered, as Japan is known for its sakura or cherry blossom season. ~ Azran Osman-Rani, CEO of AirAsia X
