This website gave me information on a claim that was made. It said that Emily Richards wrote a letter to her mother in-law from the Carpathia saying that she saw Captain Smith drinking the night of the disaster. This first hand information helped me prove my point that Captain Smith is the one to blame the most for the wreck.

Secondary Source(s) BBC.com. BBC, n.d. Web. 13 Dec. 2013. <http://www.bbc.co.uk>. BBC.com gave me second hand information and called Captain Smith a coward for not responding to the ice warnings, not slowing speed but just going a more southern route. Smith also didn't supervise the loading of the lifeboats but let some go away half empty which easily added 500 to the death list. This helped me prove he did not fulfill his responsibility. Dan Bachelors Opinions. N.p., n.d. Web. 12 Dec. 2013. <http://dahnbatchelorsopinions.blogspot.com/2012/04/sinking-of-titanic-who-was-toblame.html>. This second hand information gave a list of people to blame. Even though Captain Smith is #4 to blame he is still blaming him. This information said that Captain Smith was just kinda just listening to Ismay (Head of White Star line) about making some record for crossing the Atlantic Ocean Which means he was going fast, maybe a little to fast. This helped me prove he was sailing recklasly.

Encyclopedia Titanica. Encyclopedia Titanica, n.d. Web. 12 Dec. 2013. <http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/titanic-victim/edward-john-smith.html>. Encyclopedia Titanica's second hand information helped me prove that Captain Smith didn't fulfill his duties. Encyclopedia Titanica does remember Captain Smith as a hero. He went into a indecisive mode, that helps me prover he did not fulfill his duties. History on the Net. Historyonthenet, n.d. Web. 13 Dec. 2013. <http://historyonthenet.com/Titanic/titanicmain.htm>. History on the net's second hand information says captain smith is one of the people to blame for the wreck is Captain Smith. They say Ismay was putting pressure on him to make a record. He did this because crossing on boats on the atlantic was getting scarce. Ismay wanted to make the trip in six days, this means Smith had to go faster. My Heart Will Go On (Titanic Theme) with lyrics. Youtube. Google, n.d. Web. 8 Jan. 2014. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiy9YB1coMw>. I converted this video into a music file and put it on my website because this is the theme song on the remake of titanic and makes me remember titanic. RMS Titanic and Her Sister-Ships. Christina Goodman, n.d. Web. 14 Dec. 2013. <http://www.rmstitanicandhersisterships.20m.com/>. This web site told me about Titanic's sister ships. The names of the ships were the RMS Olimpic and Gigantic aka Britannic. The Olimpic was basically the most succesful out of all three with over 25 years. The Brittanic was blown up fighting in World War 1. This helped me in my paper tell the history of the ships The Telegraph. Telegraph Media Group, n.d. concordia-had-been-british-would-he-have-abandoned-ship/>. This was just kinda helping with the Captain of Titanic not abandoning ship because it is a british tradition. "Titanic Advertising 1912."
