Teacher asks students to form six groups . Teacher explain the purpose and procedure of the experiments Teacher demonstrate to the students on how to do the experiments and handling the apparatus. Teacher asks the leader of each group to take the apparatus and the food samples Teacher moves around to monitor students work.

Students take note

Specimen tubes, a syringe (1 ml), syringes (5 ml), beakers (50 ml), gauze cloth and a knife.

Students carried out the experiment and observe the results. Students recorded the result
