Frequency of the board meetings and Academic Advisory Board Two meetings Annually Nature and extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs / Improvements The faculty members are allotted academic workload keeping in mind their status and position as per the norms of the AICTE/UGC/ the University of Mumbai and the directives of the Government of Maharashtra. The members of the faculty help in administration in selection process by being members of the panels for conducting Group Discussions (GDs) and Personal Interviews (PIs). The members of the faculty share their experience and expertise with the students. They not only teach the theoretical aspects of the subject but also give the industry perspective. They also evaluate the performance of the students on the basis of written exams, via-voce exams, project reports submitted, Quizzes etc. The members of the staff encourage and guide the students in preparation for various paper presentations / Case Study competitions. They help them in improving their communication skills. They impart other soft / presentation skills. They cultivate right kind of values and attitudes. They guide the students in undertaking different live projects thro out the year. The students thro the Sydenham Management Associaiton and other committees like the Media Committee, the Placement Committee, the Students Development Committee, the Guest Lecture Committee, the Students Amenities Committee organize various academic cultural, co-curricular activities and help the Institute in ensuring the students are turned into global managers. The involvement of the teachers and the students is total.
