SNANA YATRA
On Sunday 14th June we celebrated Snana Yatra. This
year the event was held at ISKCON-London and every-
one was given the opportunity to bathe Their Lordships
with some even queuing up 2-3 times. We had a huge
feast after the event and then bhajans and kirtans until
9pm arati and beyond!

Unfortunately Their Lordships are rather susceptible to

colds and so had to be whisked off to a special sick bay
right after the bathing. But fear not as Their Lordships
were wonderfully looked after by our pujaris during this
time but it took Them 2 whole weeks before They were
well enough to venture out. However we do know that
They very much appreciated all the Get Well cards, bal-
loons and flowers... not to mention the extra preps at
each bhoga offering !

OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
During the month of April the following activities were carried out by Jai Nitai dasa:

20th June - attended the UKMC meeting 25th June - attended a house programme at

On Sunday 28th June Their Lordships
Jagannatha Baladev and Subhadra rode on
three separate carts through the streets of
Central London for the Ratha Yatra festival.
This was the 41st year this festival was cele-
brated in the UK.

HH INDRADYUMNA SWAMI CLASS AND

BHAJANS NIGHT !
On Thursday 18th June we were delighted to host HH Indradyumna Swami for an evening
of class, bhajans and kirtans. Maharaj also showed a special DVD of his recent Polish tour
and appealed for funds to ensure the tour can continue next year.

WEEKEND WARRIORS WORKSHOP

HG Visvambhara dasa came to train first
timers in learning the art of distributing Srila
Prabhupada’s books on Sunday 21st June.
The interactive workshop aimed to guide
newcomers in overcoming the common
challenges and fears of taking part in the
sankirtan mission of Lord Caitanya.

The participants learned how to prepare the

mind and gain confidence to preach Srila
Prabhupada’s message using simple tech-
niques to approach interested members of

the public searching for spiritual life. We

started with an understanding of book dis-
tribution and why it is so dear to Srila
Prabhupada, then some meditations for the
sankirtan devotee and soon we headed off
to Oxford Street to practice for an hour
under the personal guidance of
Visvambhara Prabhu. We returned to the
shelter of Sri Sri Radha Londonisvara and
shared our wonderful experiences and con-
cluded with a questions and answers ses-
sion.

These workshops will be held on a mid-

monthly basis and are free for anybody who
wishes to attend.

retreat with HH Sacinandana Swami.
Radhadesh is in the Belgian countryside and
is a beautiful medieval palace that was once
owned by Royalty. Today it is occupied by Sri
Sri Radha Gopinath and Their devotees. It
was a perfect peaceful setting for a week
away from the busy city life of a preacher.

Earlier this month we had a

visit by Mark Fields MP who
is the local MP for
Westminster Council. Mr
Fields offered arati to Their
Lordships, worshipped
Tulasi devi and Srila
Prabhupada in the Temple
room before going to the
seminar room for a
PowerPoint presentation by
Jai Nitai dasa.

Mr Fields was very happy

with the visit and sent a
letter the very next day to
Jai Nitai dasa promising to
attend the 40th anniversary
celebrations in November.

VOLUNTEERS DAY CELEBRATION IN

This month saw the ladies sankirtana
team attend a Volunteers Day celebra-
tion in Bracknell. The stall which was set
up was well attended and many many
books were distributed. A big thank you
to Bhaktin Suan for arranging this event
and for kindly hosting some of the ladies
in her home overnight.
