that we must realize that it is not just because of the Japan alliance with American, Hard Power or because even when we saw it all, it is not too obtrusive. At present who is not familiar with Japan? Certainly no. From young children to adults to know Japan, where it is located, what they got. But when they were asked about what Japan first time they know about this country? Of course about anime, Doraemon or any culture which is owned by Japan. Japan, perhaps better known for its industrial and economic power, has also made significant contributions in the domain of popular culture. In recent times, there has been a burgeoning in the form of cultural exchanges between Japan and countries not only in the Asian region, but also globally in the form of adaptations of Japanese popular media for overseas consumption. Japanese popular cultural products have been transferred to different countries using different formats including television drama, film, anime, manga, computer games and music.1 Media popular culture has played a significant role in Japan and across Asia in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and has contributed to globalization as well as regional localization. Five hundred and fifty five Japanese TV dramas were broadcast in Japan in the 1990s, and many have been broadcast overseas.2 Japanese manga have been re-created into TV dramas; TV dramas have been re-made into films; films have been novelized into books; and books have been remade into other media forms on the propose to driving regional soft power. The commercial outcomes initiated within Japan then become regionalized or internationalized, and add to Japanese soft power. Japan has established herself that soft power is one of the major powers held by Japan. Recognises the importance of cultural transfers. To quote from the policy speech made by former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the 166th Session of the Diet on January 26, 2007: As part of the Asia Gateway initiative, we will also formulate the Japanese Cultural Industry Strategy, which will enhance the competitiveness of areas that represent the good traits and uniqueness of Japan, such as animated film, music and Japanese food, and present them to the world. This claim to competiveness is illustrated by the fact that sixty percent of the global production of anime and manga is Japanese.3 That we should know soft power doesnt only described for cultural exchanges with other countries. Soft power also describes as the ability to get what you want through attraction rather than coercion or payments. officials speak of soft power they are talking about the ability of the attractiveness of Japanese values to get other countries to side with Japanese efforts in diplomatic and international relations. If we are to understand here, Japan has succeeded in giving a clear impact for their efforts on the soft power that they have this. Japan now also have to have a very strong force in the world, it can be seen how cultural they have to expand around the world. So with this it is clear that Japan has regional influence in East Asia. When we look beyond the countries in East Asia have spread their culture to the rest of the world together, we can not deny that the countries in East Asia have their soft power stages. China has a very strong contemporary culture, Japan and Korea has spread to modern pop cultural accepted by the whole world. East Asia as a whole actually been led by Japan to spread and strengthen their soft power through culture that they have. Japans Hard Power As we know that Japan is a developed country industry, which then deliver japan become a country with advances in the field of economy, this time, the post-World War II Japan only in Back Up by U.S. (allies) but in Japan in 2002 and then began to look at the role of important a defense value, so that the Japanese also took the decision to develop its armed forces, which have been prepared with the Japanese industrial and high technology with an established economy is no doubt that the Japanese may have strong armed force and advanced. Japan had been in the line where Japan can not develop its military strength due to the defeat of Japan in World War II, Japan was forced to sign an agreement with the U.S., where the contents of the agreement to make Japan a country that is passive and only the armed forces should have the Japan Self Defence Force. However, as the running time, Japan which has advanced soft power and become one of the superpower in the world would want to establish himself as one of the powers in the world with military force. Japan has now made a military revolution, commonly called Japan Rearmament. Prime Minister of Japan have amended the Japan Constitution article 9 that Japan can menapakan themselves on the stage of world power. In the heat intensity of the East Asian region is the background of Japan 's Rearmament , as claimed by Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe , " There is concern that China seeks to alter the status quo by force , not by the rule of law . But if the Chinese choose to take that path , it will not be able to emerge peacefully ."4 . Abe first step for this is to increase their military budgets the first pandemic since 11 this year .
