Its extremely relevant for our organization to promote the active participation of young people for European important topics such cultural heritage is and to include them (in improving Strategic Action Plan Design) into building even better European environment. With raising awareness of the cultural diversity of European citizens (national evenings, presentation for children) will fight against xenophobia and racism etc. Positive experiences from volunteers during their 3 months long work and life in Croatia and sharing to their communities will contribute to combat prejudice and xenophobia toward Croatia as new member state. Furthermore, Back to the Ancient Europe2 project will continue to encourage our youngsters (one of our target groups) to have direct contact with other EU youngsters, become actively involved in the local civic networks as well as in cooperation in a European level. This collaboration will bring us the opportunity to open future perspectives (cooperation, non formal education, professional opportunities) to our youngsters on abroad.
Priority for becoming a EVS volunteer in Back to the Ancient Europe2 project will have youngsters with a fewer opportunities (economic problems - unemployed young people). Therefore they will have the opportunity to get the international experience, improve language and communication skills.
