Why is religion necessary? Why should we worship, why cant just we follow our sense right and wrong?

The thought behind the first question is that religion is something external to us, that these ideas are imposed on the ideas. And also it contains the idea that religion is something we have made up and not factual. To explain this last point consider that a person never asks the question that Why is science necessary? Because he acknowledges that science is factual. And learning science is learning the truth of ourselves and nature, while learning religion is learning the myths and other ideas that humans have made up to explain the unexplained. In the second question, it is acknowledged that we possess a unique and strange sense of right and wrong. Using this as a premise the other questions can be answered. We observe in the universe around us that it is complete in every respect. It is complete with respect to the physical laws. We also observe this moral law within us. So all humans acknowledge that truth is virtuous and falsehood is not. But this moral law does not yield results in this world of ours. But this does not fit, it must yield results like all other laws in the universe. This leads to the thought that there must be some other place where this law shall be fulfilled and the wicked punishment and the righteous rewarded. So our own nature points towards the existence of an afterlife. Moreover, this completeness, this order in the universe is itself a proof of some higher being, a higher mind that created this all. Whenever we see order, a few pebbles arranged in a neat line, our thoughts immediately think of the mind that arranged those pebbles. So how can this universe, so large in science yet perfectly ordered be a product of chance? And isnt this too much chance? So any prejudiced mind will acknowledge the existence of God. The One, who created such a perfectly ordered universe, must be perfect and devoid of any fault. Everything must be under His control and His knowledge. His knowledge and power must be limitless. Now when a person acknowledges the existence of God, and He being the creator and sustainer of the universe, he worships that God by virtue of his nature. We have in our nature this urge to be grateful to those who have done good to us, and to return their favor. Now when a person

acknowledges the existence of the ultimate Benefactor, the urge to show gratefulness and to repay this favor rises by virtue of our nature. But how can we ever repay God? So this urge of gratefulness and to repay favors takes the form of worship. This is evident from human history as well. In ancient times when humans considered the Sun as their ultimate benefactor, they started worshiping. But now we know that the Sun itself is part of a much larger system, and the ultimate Benefactor Is one who created this all. So worshiping Him is the urge of our nature.
