Children born in January can be moved to a higher class subject to observation of the child by a teacher. Children born in December can be moved to a lower class subject to observation of the child by a teacher All decisions in this regard are reserved with the school and will be taken after taking the parent into condence In the case of the students age not matching the class he/she is seeking admission into, the management reserves the right to cancel the application for admission.

Delhi Public School, Jhansi is a fair and transparent organization with the following fundamental values: Complete impartiality in selecting students for admission even though limited seats are available Complete impartiality to caste, creed, race, religion or sex as selection criteria for admission No hidden fees or charges. All fee related matters will be made clear to applicants / parents before admission No form of commission or bribe accepted from anyone for admissions Professional and personal history of the applicant / parents does not affect the students admission in our school.

Differently-abled candidates
DPS strongly encourages proper and full education for every child. However, we are presently not equipped with the special methodology required for differently-abled children. We request parents to not apply until

we are equipped to accept, incorporate and pay special attention to such children. Currently we will be handicapped in giving them an adaptable environment and the academic standard they deserve.

Administrative
5.1. School Timings & Holidays
School runs Monday to Friday Saturdays and Sundays are holidays

Detailed daily times and Holiday Calendar will be given near the start of the session. 5.2. Books and Uniform
Students have to buy books and uniforms from the School. School will provide Information regarding books and uniforms once the admission to a student is granted. Charges for the same will be communicated by the Principal when requested by the parents/applicants.

5.3. Fees
Please make yourself fully aware of the fee structure and fee payments DPS Jhansi reserves the right to cancel a students admission if the fees arent paid within the deadline Fees once paid at the time of admission are not refundable except for the Security Deposit in case of withdrawal from the school.

5.4. Transport
School provides AC vehicles for transport (if required).

Admission procedure
1. We highly recommend visiting the School and understanding our philosophy and what we have to offer to your child 2. Applicants have to submit Form A1 Application for admission. Forms can be obtained from the School office at 218 Jhokan Bagh: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm. Form fee is Rs. 50.- It has to be submitted at the School office along with an application fee of Rs. 350.3. School will then invite selected applicants (both parents and student) for an interview. Thereafter, the School will evaluate the interview and contact the applicant with its decision regarding admission. 4. The applicant has to accept or decline admission decision within 3 days of it being communicated. The applicant will have to pay the Admission fee, Security Deposit, Annual Charges and the 1st Quarterly fee within one week of communication of the admission decision by the School 5. Admitted students have to join/attend the school on the official school opening date as notified by the Principal

Required Documents
1. Original school leaving/transfer certificate and last report card (without this no admission from class 1 to 6 will be permitted). 2. For admission in class Nursery, L.K.G., U.K.G. birth certificate is mandatory. 3. School leaving certificate is required for those students coming from outside U.P/outside India, should be attested by educational department/embassy. 4. Previous class report card 5. Medical certificate signed duly from a registered medical practitioner. 6. Recent passport size photographs of the applicant and his/her parents (1 each).
