This just shows that even in the first century anyone who took the name Bapt (like John the Baptist) had to be conveying the promiscuous attributes of Cotytto. But again, like Eros, Cotytto was intentionally left out of the Bible to circumvent medieval corruption. Also, when Rome decided to follow Christianity, it might not have lasted very long if the obvious correlation was still intact. Otherwise, it would have been necessary (at least in the first century) to cite Cotytto, just to state the obvious importance that the suggestive Christian baptism had nothing to do with her. If you can confess your sorrow about sinning, then youre less likely to do it again. And, I know for a fact how easy it is for people to actually believe their own lies.

You see, Jesus couldnt just say I want promiscuous sex, because the church (the name Jesus Christ) wouldnt have survived to its point today. There are way too many secular rulers who would have stopped it between now and then, if the Scriptures had been more direct. There was 300 years of early government persecution against the Christians, claiming they knew what was really going on, which eventually led to the ending of the orgiastic agape love-feast, and to any kind of sex outside of marriage, as it stands today. You see, God apparently knew what would work and what would not work. And, someday were going to learn that God cant just stop Hitler from rolling his tanks across Poland; but, He can give the correct inspiration to one who is sacrificially open-minded enough to receive it.
