Procedure for Process Control of Solar Power Plant

Site Investigation:
Our team will conduct the site investigation at the proposed site. And they will submit a
detailed report about the proposed site.

Site Analysis:

Our expert team will conducts an assessment of the proposed Project Site. Which include the
assessment of potential of solar energy available at the proposed site, Structural, Electrical and
Environmental aspects of the proposed site.

Site Clearance:

After finishing the site analysis, the expert team will issues the site clearance report for the
proposed site.

System Design:

Our Design Engineers of will carry out the detailed Engineering Analysis that enable us to
know the panels, mounting structures, inverter, battery, charge controller and other system
components required for the proposed project. And the design is verified by the sharp design
experts. If it is required they will make some necessary correction in the design.

Procurement:

After finishing of system design, we will float enquiry to various vendors. A material
Procurement Engineer at Head Office in Chennai will be responsible for the procurement and
expediting of various equipment as per agreed project schedule.

System Acceptance Test:

After choosing the Vendors for supply of various equipments, our representative will
visit the client manufacturing unit and check whether the products meeting their
specification or not. If it is ok we will issue purchase order to them.

Storing:

Arrangement for storage facilities for the panels, mounting structure, inverters and other
components are made. Store keeper is placed in storage camp for the security purpose.
Construction:

Construction Engineer will be allocated for the execution of the work. He will carry out the
work along with the one or more Site Engineer, Supervisor and few Labours and they manages
the entire erection & commissioning process, including the logistics, system integration, civil
work and if require, the power evacuation also.

 Foot marking
 Casting of Footings & Placement of Footings
 Fixing of Mounting Structure & Solar Panels
 Earthing of the Mounting Structure
 Fixing of Cable laying and termination
 Construction of Control Room
 Pre-commissioning test
 Installation of Junction box and Inverter
 Interconnecting the system with the gird
 Erection of PLC and System performance monitor

Testing & Commissioning:

After the commissioning of whole power plant, it is tested for whether it meeting all
specification as per the design.

System Monitoring:

The system performance is continuously monitored by using PLC and the information is
stored. Which help us to know the system status and it is also useful for the future studies.

Operation & Maintenance:

We also provide operation and maintenance for the proposed project if it is required. One
team will be formed for the operation and maintenance of the plant, they will do the monthly or
annual maintenance.
