The book starts with Greg talking about how his life worked before he was born. He tells us everything, including how this mother keeps playing classical music and reading him books in order to make her soon to be son smarter. Too bad that kind of things dont work, and she fails. Greg ends up born faster, 3 weeks earlier. In his toodler years, Greg tells us that his family lived in a small apartment where he had to sleep in the top of dresser drawer, and his stuffs were hand-me-downs from Rodrick, his brother. That time, her mother still attemps to get Greg smart by providing him educational videos, too bad she fails, again. In preschool, Grey realizes that he was left behind, and all this time, he didnt show any specific progress of his growth. He can't catch up with his friend. He ends up told them bad information, and the teacher kicks him out from the school. In the present day, his uncle, Gary, moves into his house. His presence cause a great disturbance. He often gets Gregs family in troubles. Then, in school, Rowley, Gregs bestfriend gets elected as the dance committee for Valentines Day Dance, and Greg uses him to find him a girlfriend. Too bad that Gregs plan doesn't work as planned. The dance is ruined by the senior, Greg suddenly gets chicken pox, Abigail (the girl who go to the dance with Greg and Rowley as a group of friends) is left behind, crying, and ends up with Rowley comforting her. In the end of the book, Uncle Gary wins $4000 and pays off his debt to Gregs dad which was created in the past. Lasita Khaerani XI IPA B
