Pauline soon established that her major inspiration for design practice was Japanese minimalists and the Scandinavian design masters, encouraging her to undertake a masters program at the Danish Kolding design school.

Over her two years spent in Denmark, Pauline took part in an exclusive collaboration with ECCO shoes, a furniture project supported by Danish textile Kvadrat, an internship in Hong Kong and another experience as a design intern for French fashion brand Chanel in Paris.

This unusual and eclectic curriculum refined her design practice, and gave her strong convictions about what ought to be her design philosophy.

You find beauty, delicacy and humor in the unexpected, the surprising. Design practice should

challenge the conventions, whilst combining fine detailing and honest materials, reinforcing the through product design or installations.

elegance and the simplicity of an object. My work aims to channel and benefit from these values,

Third solo project: Collection Events Catwalk and Showroom design_

This project was handed to me in November 2011 with only 3 words as a brief:

Room, Textile & Furniture.

The openness of the brief was an opportunity to challenge the archetypes of furniture such

as tables, chairs, shelves, and offer new perspectives upon the meaning of the term Room. The entire approach of this design process is based on the work of two artists that I admire, Paul Klee and Saul Steinberg. It is a peculiar approach that aims to push the boundaries of the physicality of furniture design in a structured space.

Danish textile company Kvadrat was collaborating with the students during the entire process.

crowds, confusion, distraction of people on the streets, whilst the cyclist can safely focus on the money transaction.

This product is a response to these assaults, whilst taking advantage of the raising trend of biking in London.

The stand is designed to resist all urban conditions, whilst the maintaining and cost of the product is low, offering affordable solution to banks or city councils.

The concept of the Shop is to use the visual identity of the Cargo and Container look, to create a dynamic space, where objects are in movement. Every element in the store will will be installed, and various wooden boxes will be combined together in order to store and display the clothes. be mobile: A rolling crane will be built to slide through the whole room, a workshop area
