TERM DEFINITIONS
Note: If the caregiver does not have the express consent of all
parties legally entitled to have physical custody of the
children, the non-consenting party may challenge the caregiver's
right to have the children. The caregiver must sign the Family
Care Plan agreeing to care for the minor children and/or adult
family members/dependents during the servicemember's absence to
ensure the servicemember is available for worldwide duties.
