INTRODUCTION

Polytechnic Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin( PSMZA ) founded its construction in 2001 Dungun Terengganu.Sebelum it is known by the name or PDT. Polytechnic on a site of 100 hectares , polytechnic students are able to accommodate up to 3,600 people at a times and student accommodation ( hostel ) to accommodate a total of 1200 students at a time .

As the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia Open 13th , PSMZA was in the midst enters a new era with full glory and is ready to take responsibility to ensure its prominence as a center of excellence in technical education in Malaysia .

On July 24, 2006 have been a historical date to all citizens PSMZA , when it was first opened by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Terengganu Down Al Wathiqu Prince Sultan MizanZainalAbidin , son of the late Sultan Mahmud Al - Al - MuhtafiBillah once saw a name change Polytechnic to Polytechnic Sultan MizanZainalAbidin, in conjunction with his name .

By leading the production capacity of the building holds various engineering, PSMZA has three main departments , namely the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Engineering Mechanical and three departments are supported by two support departments , the Department of Chemistry and Department of Mathematics, Science and Computers .

PSMZA offer of 9 courses at diploma and 5 courses for facilitate the teaching and learning process as well as the administration , several other units that have established their role as Career Counselling Unit , Unit Training and Continuing Education , Administration and others .

DEPARTMENT OF STUDDENT AFFAIR AND DEVELOPMENT

INTRODUCTION

In general, the Department of Student Affairs & Development was established to look after the welfare of students. It is led by the Head of Department and assisted by 13 staff who are committed and caring Function / goal is:

Planning, streamline and implement an orientation program with admission. Designing and implementing a disciplined way of life. Solve Old and New Student Registration on the same day. Provide an orientation week for at least 3 days after the day of registration. Welfare of students. Implementing tracking graduates for graduate students. Plan and implement activities
