The Illinois High School Figure Skating Team competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of U.S. Figure Skating, as set forth in the current rulebook and in accordance with the rules as stated in the current U.S. Figure Skating Rule 3 !! under "Special #ompetitions$ and High School Skating #ompetition Handbook and Technical Rulebook document, as well as an% pertinent updates which ha&e been posted on the U.S. Figure Skating website. This announcement and the High School #ompetition Handbook and Technical Rulebook will take precedence if there is a conflict with the U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook. This competition is open to all eligible, restricted, reinstated or readmitted persons as defined b% the 'ligibilit% Rules, and is a currentl% registered member of a U.S. Figure Skating member club, or an indi&idual member in accordance with the current rulebook. Their education is of the highest priorit%, and in all decision making matters, the (rogram -e&elopment #ommittee and the ./# 0.ocal /rgani*ing #ommittee1 ha&e a responsibilit% to minimi*e the da%s missed from school. Teams will be assigned a place to line up along the barrier, and must remain on the ice for their entire e&ent.
