Humpty Dumpty Printables Pages 3-5: My Book of E Words (phonics) Page 6: Humpty Dumpty Craft (fine motor skills) Pages 7-9: Who Lays Eggs Mini-book (science) Pages 10-11: Humpty Dumpty Sequencing (pre-reading) Pages 12-15: Humpty Dumpty Copywork (handwriting) Your older student can write the poem on the lines provided. There are two different options. Please choose the one that matches your handwriting program. Pages 16-19: Egg Facts (science and pre-handwriting) Choose the option that matches your handwriting program and let your student trace the words. This is an easy book to read, and your student may want to try reading it after you read it a few times to her first. Page 20: Humpty Dumpty Picture (fine motor skills) Let your student color the picture, cut it out, and glue it in to the book. He can also practice writing his name on the line provided. Pages 21-22: Ovals Circle Book (math: shapes) Discuss the shape of an egg with your student. What ovals can you find in your home? Go on an oval hunt! Pages 23-24: Horses (science) Read a nonfiction book about horses to your student and let her recall favorite facts for you to write on the pages of the book. Page 25: Ovals! (math: shapes, fine motor skills, creative thinking) Ask your student to trace the ovals. Then encourage him to make the ovals into four different egg people!

Cut out pictures and words. Glue one picture with corresponding word onto each Letter E shape. Cut out all the shapes and staple them together like an E shaped book.

Let your child color Humpty Dumpty and his arms and legs. Cut Humpty Dumpty out and cut apart on dotted lines. Let you child glue him back together on top of the wall. Fold arms and legs accordion style and add.

Birds are not the only animal that lay eggs. Cut out pictures of other animals that hatch from eggs and glue onto the right egg. Cut out the pages and staple them together as a mini book.

Color the picture. Cut it out and place it on the inside of the picture folder.

Cut out wheels. Cut away the extra area on the cover wheel (where indicated). Let your student cut/paste the pictures into the right sequence. Attach wheels together using a brass fastener.

Write or draw information about horses. What are males and females called? What do horses eat? What sound do horses make? Cut out the pages and staple them together as a mini book.

Trace the oval shapes and then make egg people!
