On week one we received the brief and began to discuss the different options available to us for our pod-cast.

we then came up with a few genres and points of discussion amongst that subject. We came up with House Music, The chart toda and The current technologies available to the industr . We decided to go against !The "hart Toda # and !The current technologies available to the industr #. $lthough these link in with the course and can be discussed we felt that !House Music# had a lot more points of interest and in a wa could lead onto the other discussed subjects. Once we had decided the main base idea for the project we all done research into finding out what sub categories we could cover. We Then began to make an intro for the pod-cast using %ogic, we also found interviews to trim down and made &uestions to the interviews so it would sound like we had guests on the pod-cast who have influenced House music. We then began to make a script with ever one being given there own section of House music to look into. These 'ub "ategories are "hicago, (etroit, $cid, )lectro and (eep. We used these as the cover all the different areas of House music from Where it began to its form toda . Towards the end of the week we had near finalised the edits to what we had of our pod-cast and we made final alterations to the script making us more prepared for recording. On week two we decided to begin recording, this began with *osh recording the introduction to the pod-cast and me recording m "hicago piece. +t took us both a few takes and we made a few alterations to the script to create a more natural sounding conversation on the recording. once we had recorded we all helped each other out with completing the rest of the scripts and we trimmed down an interview with ,rankie -nuckles and recorded in as if we had him on the phone. The ne.t da we recorded /oe talking about (etroit and )lla talking about )lectro. We then edited these in with a few more alterations to the script, the ne.t da we finished all the main parts of the recordings b adding jacks $cid recording and 0ile #s (eep house section. Once these had been recorded we added them in and added songs that had relation to each section to transition between each section and some more interviews. for the rest of the week we edited together the recordings. On week three we had our near final pod-cast done, well the first draft. This meant we could listen through it and all discuss what we wanted to add, we came up with a list of things we wanted to add to the pod-cast these included1 Titles for each section, Outro 'ong, Outro summar and a conversation about where the name !house music# came from. the first few da s of the week we started b titling the sections and editing certain ones to sound like there genre for e.ample electro sounding like a robot. We then recorded *osh doing an outro and decided on a song to put with it. The last thing we done was recorded the conversation between me and *osh about where the name house music came from.
