Im happy when

Life is full of happy days and sad days, the latter being more common in life. A happy day is that day when everything seems to go well with life and loved ones, though these happy days are also different from each other due to the degree of happiness they impart. The happiest day of my life is the day when I won a Gold Award for International Exhibition for Young Inventors at Bangkok, Thailand on last June. One would wonder why and how should that event make me so very happy, that, I earmark it as the happiest day of my life. Yes, I call this day as the happiest day of my life up to now as, that day gave me a lot physically and even mentally Initially, I have participated myself together with my partner in Malaysian International Young Inventors Olympiad which took place in my beloved state, Perlis last April. During that event, we had struggled exuberantly in order to obtain a Gold Award but unfortunately, we failed to do so as we just managed to won Silver Award. A sad feeling enveloped ourselves as we had tried our best in that event but we just got a failure. We sobbed for that failure and I wonder why Allah did not respond to our prayer since Allah had promised to His servants in Quran in Sura al-Ghofir verse 60 :

And your Lord said : make appeal to ME ; I will respond to your request. Infact, those who deny MY worship, will enter Hell with shame .

Then, I realized that Allah had set something special for His servants. He would not disappointed to those who request something from Him. Thus, we accepted what had been set by Him because every cloud has silver lining. He will give the best for His servants.

After that event, I was offered to participate once again in such event in Bangkok. Several weeks before that event, I was asked to give the best for this competition. At first, I did not give full attention and focus for this event as I was as busy as a bee during that time. I had to attend a course for Peers Mentor Leadership at Penang two weeks before that event for 4 days 3 nights. In addition, all of my friends are cooperating in decorating tents for Sports Day. Indirectly, I was not one of the cooperating team for my sport house, Uranus. Moreover, as soon as I finished attending my course, my teacher had pushed me to practice for my event in Bangkok. It such a mournful time for me because I could not rest for a while after that course besides cannot lend my hand to my friends. I had no choice on that time except focused on my event. Once I present my product to my teacher, she seemed not satisfied with my presentation because I talked stutter.

Seriously, it was a burden for me on that time. When the event come, I strives as hard as I could do in order not to disappoint any sides including myself. When the result had been announced, I felt so euphoric because I managed to won Gold Award for that event. At last my hard work had paid off. It was true that an Arabian poet had said:

Who strives more, he get more

That memorable day will always remain in my mind, no matter how many happy and even happier days I get to see later in life. This day will always be a unique day for me as this was the first day in my life when I saw so much pleasure in one go. Lastly, I should not forget to thank to Allah as without Him, I could not achieve this victory.
