Introduction
Examination is an integral part of everyone's life. The hard work of an individual is analyzed through examinations. Individuals can realize their strength and weakness through the analysis. To facilitate a fair and fruitful learning process we have developed this Online Assessment System. This would help the test takers to get an instant feedback. The graphical representation of the performance would lead to a better self assessment.

1.1Purpose
The purpose of this document is to outline the detailed Functional Requirement that will enable design and development of the Online Assessment System.

1.2 Background
In this system there are three modules. The application has a number of users: Associates, Facilitator and Administrator. The responsibilities of these users are explained later. Online Assessment System can be categorized into three modules 1. Online Test Administration System 2. Intelligent Test Taking System and Question Management 3. Feedback Management For performing any of the above mentioned operations, appropriate log-in is required by the users. Hence all modules should have the feature to log-in and validate the credentials. 1. Online Test Administration System This module will be used for adding different users to the system, managing associates details, Facilitator details and Learning Group details. 2. Intelligent Test Taking System and Management This module is used for test creation at run-time according to their skills, creation of content and attending the test. 3.Feedback Management Instant feedback is available to the test taker concept-wise specifying their strengths and weaknesses. This helps them improve their performance.

1.3 Online Test Administration System

This module will be used for three distinct operations: 1. Adding different users 2. Managing user details 3. Managing Learning Group details. Creation of different types of users There are three core users for the system. They are a. Associate b. Facilitator c. Administrator Note: 1. Associate will use this system only for taking a test and receiving instant feedback. 2. Appropriate role assignment is done while a new user is created in the system. 1.4 Existing system: The facilitator needs to go through each of the associate's work which is time consuming Associates need to wait in order to get their feedback Manual intervention is required Same set of questions for every test taker Customized and concept-wise feedback is not available Intelligent question distribution system is not available Speed of interpretation of questions is not available 1.5Proposed System Automation of feedback system which reduces the workload of the facilitator. Facilitates associates with instant feedback Better self assessment possible by analyzing strength and weakness Associates can keep track of their performance Graphical representation of performance helps in better analysis Intelligent question distribution system where complexity of the questions are based on associate's skill and knowledge
