Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:4 - And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. God is the creator and initiator of the heavens and the earth. John 16:9, concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in me; The Holy Spirit comes to convict the world of sin; the sin of unbelief in the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We possessed no power to change and believe on our own when we were dead in sin. There was no life of God in us. The Holy Spirit convicts us of the need of a Savior Jesus Christ.

Acts 13:38 - Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: Acts 10:43 - To Him all the prophets testify (bear witness) that everyone who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him, giving himself up to Him] receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Colossians 1:14 - In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins. The above verses are just a few present realities about us. There is so much more in the Word of God that we havent written here. The more we dig deep into the treasures of
