Terms and Conditions
 To assist with the organisation of the rally, early application is appreciated
 £30 deposits are due by Tuesday 6th October. It is guaranteed that no
deposit cheques will be cashed before this date. Since the number interested
dictates the number of boats chartered, this deposit is non-refundable after
this date.
 Full payment is due by Wednesday 28th October. Again, should you
subsequently be unable to attend the rally after this date, this will not be
refunded, with the exception of the dinner fee prior to confirmation of final
numbers with the venue.
 Applications from non-members are accepted. However, berths will be made
available to them only once all full members have been accommodated. A
temporary membership fee is payable.
 Crews will be assembled, wherever possible, in accordance with the wishes
of individuals but also recognising the need to balance each crew.
 Charter boats will be available from 1700 Wednesday night to 1700 Sunday
night. It may be decided not to assemble/leave until the Thursday morning
but all skippers should ensure that a full 4-day trip is planned.
 Whilst every effort will be made to sail as planned, it is the decision of each
individual skipper whether to do so given the prevailing conditions and
experience of the crew
 As with any sport, there is some risk and occasionally boats and/or equipment
can be damaged or lost. In the case of minor items (such as fenders being lost
or a diver being needed to clear a fouled propeller) it would be expected that
the individual boat kitty covers the cost. Liability for more major incidents on a
charter boat is restricted to the deposit paid (on this occasion £750) and would
be split between the crew of the boat suffering such loss or damage.
 For those on charter boats, the crew should examine the boat carefully and
take photos of any damage on pick up, insist the boat is inspected on return
and keep any fuel receipts until the deposit has been returned.
 In signing up for this rally you declare that you are physically fit to go to sea &
that you are responsible for yourself; assessing whether any event or activity
on water is too difficult for you, and whether or not your personal safety or
that of your fellow crew could be endangered as a result of your actions.
 Whilst all the boats we use are insured against serious damage, club
insurance is not taken out against individual cancellation, illness or the loss of
personal possessions. It is recommended that individuals make provision
suitable for the planned voyage against such occurrences.
