Explanation Regarding the University Education System

Each 4 credits course consists of minimum 60 lectures, each 3 credits course consists of minimum 45 lectures and each 2 credits course consists of minimum 30 lectures. The duration of each lecture is 50 minutes. Each 4 credits course is evaluated on 100 marks and each 3 credits course is equivalent to 80 marks. Similarly each 2 credits course is evaluated on 50. Each laboratory course consists of 60-90 hours of laboratory work. To take part in the course final examination, the student must attend 75% of the classes for each course. The medium of teaching of this University is English. Grading System conversion of the University of Dhaka is as follows:
