S&P BSE SENSEX, India's first and most popular bellwether index, closed at 18,861.54 points on 28 February, 2013. This represents st a decrease of 5.19% in the index value in the month of February, 2013. The S&P BSE SENSEX hit a high of 19,966.69 on 1 February, th 2013 and a low of 18,793.97 on 28 February, 2013. The average intra-day volatility during the month was 0.99%.
