The European Safety Analysis Team (EHSAT)

EHSAT is the Safety Analysis team of the EHEST Cross industry/authorities group Objective:
Analyse European helicopter accidents in order to identify the contributing factors and to recommend interventions [Data source: AIB reports]

19

Coordinated regional EHSAT efforts

Regional Analysis Teams have been established to perform analysis of local accident data
Maximises usage resources Relations between partners already established Team is aware of local context Implementations/action plans also have to be implemented on regional level Language used for accident investigation reports

Regional Analysis Teams cover more than 90% of European civil helicopter fleet
