HOW TO APPLY GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Pre-requisites for Applying Online a. Candidates should have valid email ID and a Mobile Number which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter advices etc. by e-mail b. Keep ready one passport size colour photograph and stamp pad for affixing left thumb impression. c. Scanner and printer for printing the pre-defined layout and scanning the images. NOTE: Application is not complete unless the application is submitted, images are uploaded and fees are paid by fee paying candidates. Step-by-step instruction: 1. Click on APPLY ONLINE 2. Select RRB for which the candidate wishes to submit the application. 3. Select (one by one) the one or more qualification the candidate possess from the list available on the left hand side of the table and click on >> to get populated on the right hand side of the table. 4. Select the community which the candidate belongs (once selected it cannot be changed) 5. According to the status, the candidate can select whether he/she has completed act apprenticeship, is a person with disability (if yes type of disability), is an ex-servicemen (if yes type date of discharge and No. of yrs of service), is an Serving Railway Employee, Gender, Date of Birth (Age is displayed automatically), is an Economically backward, is belong to Minority community, select Preference of Railway. 6. After completing all this, click on Find Post Immediately list of posts/categories for which he is eligible will be displayed. 7. As done for qualification, select one or many posts (one by one) the candidate wishes to submit application in the order of PRIORITY and the same gets populated on the right hand side of the table. 8. After completion of selection of posts, key in your personal details as per the columns therein (ensure the details are correctly keyed in) and then click on Save & Proceed Display of Application-id and password On successful submission of application, the application-id and password is displayed on the screen. The same may be noted for future reference. Print out of the pre-designed format for scanning images After noting the application-id, take print out of the pre-designed format. Paste the photograph, affix your LTI (left thumb impression), signature and write the declaration in the spaced provided for each. Limitations need not be exceeded. Scan separately the images ie., Photograph, LTI, Signature & Declaration ie., 4 images as marked on the pre-designed format. SC/ST candidates to scan their community certificate in order to get free-travel facility. Uploading of the images: The scanned images of Photograph, LTI, Signature and Declaration along with community (only for SC/ST) certificates should be uploaded. Payment of Fees: The examination fees shall be paid by the candidate through the following modes. i. Offline Mode: The system/computer will generate a cash voucher/ Challan form pre-designed with the candidate's details a. a. Post Office: The pre-printed challan should be required to be presented at any computerised post offices counter (Epayment) across the country with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee, candidate will be issued with receipt and submission of the online application will be complete. b. State Bank of India: The pre-printed challan should be required to be presented at any branch of State Bank of India across the country with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee, candidate will be issued with receipt and submission of the online application will be complete. ii. Online Mode: The candidate will be directed to State Bank of India website for making the payment by debit card / internet banking. Other Instructions: i. Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMS/e-mail after three working days from the date of payment of fees. Please ensure to furnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive the registration confirmation. ii. Three days after fee payment, candidates will also have provision to reprint the submitted application containing fee details. The printout of the application form and fee receipt should be retained with the candidate. It will have to be submitted at the time of document verification if called for. iii. There is also a provision to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage iv. The printout of the application form must not be sent to the RRB
