Simple Fat Loss Habit #1 Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water and a maximum of twelve glasses of water everyday. Not only does drinking plenty water combat constipation (i.e. aids the easy pass out of waste products from the body), it allows you to distinguish between hunger and thirst, because many times when you feel hungry, its not that your body wants food, it really needs just water. It also helps to keep you feeling full. Dehydration can slow fat loss. Your goal should be to drink water like a fish. So how do you drink so much as a busy person? (1) Always carry a bottle of water everywhere you go. (2) Drink a glass of water first thing when you wake up in the morning, drink a glass of water again 30 minutes before each meal and another after or during each meal bringing it to a nice total of eleven glasses of water.

Simple Fat Loss Habit #2 Eat slowly, chewing all foods properly. Do you gulp down your food in a hurry or eat on-the-run? Do you heap mounds of food on your plate? Do you put another bite into your mouth before finishing the last one? The truth is these eating styles lead to two common problems that cause weight gain: 1. eating too much 2. eating too fast. If you will take time to chew your food properly before swallowing and before putting the next spoon in, it will ultimately reduce the amount of food you consume and thus fewer calories released to the body and less weight gain. The reason this fat loss habit works is because physiologically, it takes about 20 minutes before your brain receives the "full" signal from your stomach and intestines that it has been fed and to turn off the hunger signals. Simple Fat Loss Habit #4 Try as much as you can not to do any activity while eating, such as reading, watching TV, driving etc. This is because we tend to eat more at such times due to fast eating and unmindful eating. I have experienced this first hand. Whenever Im working late into the night I kind of like chewing something to just to keep my mouth busy so I discovered fat-burning snacks to use for this such as apples, garden egg, carrots. So just in case you feel like eating while doing an activity, you can use those snacks instead and not biscuit, chewing gum, groundnuts or a full blown meal.
Simple Fat Loss Habit #5 Always carry snacks everywhere you go and keep snacks within reach in the workplace else you would find yourself snacking on the wrong foods. Fruits are ideal such as oranges, apple, garden egg, tangerines, banana e.t.c. Nuts e.g. walnuts (source of good fat), vegetables e.g. carrots, cucumber e.t.c. And best of all you can easily access them here in Nigeria.
Simple Fat Loss Habit #6 Eat more veggies as the clock ticks, If you want to really lose weight or maintain your slim body, one sure way to do this is to increase your vegetable intake and decrease your starch intake for every meal past 4:00pm.

I guess it all started back when I was in secondary school because I've always been on the big side with a tendency to get fatter (which I eventually did) and then it progressed until I gained admission into the higher institution As God would have it I found myself studying Biochemistry (In lay man's terms: how the body works and the processes going on inside it). That was how my passion for understanding nutrition and fat loss developed.
