Grade A Pupils: Paper 1 Strength: 1. Students are able to score above 35 correct answer as they have adeguate vocabulary to comprehend the questions. Weakness: 1. Students face problem in answering questions that require creative and critical thinking. Precaution: 1. Drills and give them a lots of questions that need thinking skills.

Paper 2 Section A Strength: 1. Pupils are able to score full 10 marks for this sections. Weakness: 2. No weakness however once a while they are careless in spelling or adding s or es for plural eventough they know the rule thoughfully.

Precaution: Always remind them to take this element into account before they begin their test. Section B Strength: 1. All the pupils are able to score 10 full marks for the information transfer. Weakness: 2nd part of the section: (Pupils choose their preferences) 1. Pupils forget or fail to use linkers in associating their ideas. Measure taken: 1. Introduce the appropriate linkers to associate their ideas to ensure smooth flow of their writing.

Section C Guided writing: Strength: 1. Able to write simple and compound sentences . 2. Vast usage of vocabulary in writing and expressing their composition. Weakness: 1. Tend to exaggerate ideas by using inappropriate idiom or phrasal words.

Precaution: 1. Teach them all the idioms and its usage in context.

Precaution: 1. Introduce idioms and phrasal words and drill its usage to the students Grade B students.

Grade B Pupils: Paper 1 Strength: 1. Students are able to score above 25 - 33 correct answers. 2. Understand simple words in the comprehension. Weakness: 1. Find difficulty in associating word and its meaning they have not used it before. 1. Students face problem in answering questions that require creative and critical thinking. Precaution: 1. Introduce them to various genre of writing piece and ask them to read and use dictionary to find out the meaning

2. Drills and give them a lots of questions that need thinking skills.

Paper 2 Section A Strength: 1. Pupils are able to score full 10 marks for this sections. Weakness: 1. Pupils are careless in using the tenses, verbs- agreement and adding or plural forms to nouns Precaution: 1.Always remind them to take this element into account before they begin their test. 2. Put the patterns in the substitution table and drill it to them every day for 10 minutes.

Section B Strength: 1ST Part of the section. ( Information transfer) 1. All the pupils are able to score 10 full marks for the information

transfer. Weakness: 2nd part of the section: (Pupils choose their preferences) 1. Pupils are unable to use linkers in associating their ideas correctly.

Measure taken: 1. Introduce the appropriate linkers to associate their ideas to ensure smooth flow of their writing.

Section C Guided writing: Strength: 1. Able to write simple and compound sentences . Weakness: 1. Lack of vocabulary in expressing their ideas. 2. Tend to exaggerate ideas by using inappropriate idiom or phrasal words. Precaution: 1.Ask the students to read as many comprehensions and use dictionary and put them in their diary vocabulary book 1. Introduce idioms and phrasal words and drill its usage to the students.

Grade C Paper 1 Strength: 1. Students are able to score above 18 -25 correct answers. 2. Understand simple words that they have learnt in the comprehension. Weakness: 1. Find difficulty in associating word and its meaning. 1. Students face problem in answering questions that require creative and critical thinking. Precaution: 1. Introduce them to various genre of writing piece and ask them to read and use dictionary to find out the meaning 2. Drills and give them a lots of questions that need thinking skills. 3. Mentor- mentte (A students assist weaker students)

Paper 2 Section A Strength: 1. Pupils are able to score full 10 marks for this sections.

Weakness: 1.
