Introduction
HezbollahArabicforPartyofGodisa radicalIslamistorganizationcreatedbythe IraniangovernmentandbasedinLebanon.It hasa24yearhistoryofattackingtheWest, particularlyAmerica,Israel,andJews.It wishestoestablishaShiitetheocracyin LebanonanddestroyIsrael.Itsultimategoal istheestablishmentofSharia (Islamiclaw) aroundtheworld. IranprovidesHezbollahwithanestimated$100millionannually. Itcurrently operatesinseveraldozencountries,includinginEurope,theMiddleEast,Asia, Africa,NorthAmerica,andLatinAmerica.TheU.S.StateDepartmentdesignated Hezbollahasaforeignterroristorganizationin1997.
