I am a multilingual, hard working, determined student that uses my spare time by creating Youtube videos training as a lifeguard and by volunteering as a swimming coach. At the age of 16, I carried the Olympic torch through Derby for my successful achievement of a relay swim across the English Channel, raising money for Cancer research. This project alone required a lot of organisation, discipline and motivation. Having moved from Belgium to England this made me aware about the different lifestyles meaning that I am able to easily adapt to a changing environment.!

Having studied Media and Photography in A level and creating my own videos in my spare time, I have managed to gain skills in more advanced programs such as Photoshop, After effects, Final Cut Pro.!

Communication Skills

In the build up to my channel swim, I had to speak to audiences of up to 300 people at a time. This required a lot of nerves and communication skills in order for them to understand the difculty of the swim and help them to support Cancer research.!

Interests and Activities

I have a lot of passion for the media industry, having only discovered the subject 2 years ago, I have learned and achieved so much in so little time; being rewarded with the best media student of the year 2013. I attainted my award for my award winning trailer as my nal piece of coursework, which was a competition between two schools. Along with my passion for media I have created mini videos put on the internet for everyone to watch; these videos helped to develop my skills at both creating a video and presentation skills of being a presenter. On top of that, I have an interest for sport, mainly in swimming, running and cycling, I love being a lifeguard and volunteering as a coach , giving to society is one of my biggest skills as I have been in scouting for over 10 years.
